Chapter 3 An attack report(2/2)

There is silence in the darkness, with only occasional sounds of dripping water coming.

And the Rotao people believed that evil things were buried in the darkness.

Therefore, after the disaster of Finn, they forgot the Hall of the World under this cave covered with sharp rocks. There was a tall and thick wall, and under the complex patterns, a period of history belonging to the Crazy King was covered.

People are still reluctant to mention that bloody past, about the deaths of the rebels and the tyrants, how the empire collapsed, and how a prosperous king turned into ruins overnight and sank into this dark underground.

For many years, people sent guards to guard the place, but those people were crazy without exception and chattered endlessly about the things hidden in the darkness. At first, people still remembered everything, but over time, no one was willing to go. After many years of peace, people gradually forgot many things.

I also forgot what is hidden in the darkness.

Sidor Milenko watched the gravels slid down from under his feet and rolled into the darkness. The sound of silence was creepy enough.

He clutched the rock wall with his hand, and the climbing pick in his other hand was inserted into the crack between the rock walls - the crack seemed a bit unnatural to him, like a huge claw mark.

He actually always thought that the dark legends of the Rotao people were true, about tyrants and those crazy stories, an ancient empire was on the verge of collapse, and the sensational ancient rumors that happened.

But his nervousness only caused a chuckle.

The companions squatted on the top of the cliff and looked at him, teasing, "Cidor, are you scared to be unable to walk anymore? Climb up and see what you are like. Just a few stones can scare you like a frightened little squirrel."

The warrior who supported the great sword on the ground stood up and looked at the darkness in the distance: "This place has been explored in front and behind, and there is a ruin below, and the most valuable thing there was taken away ten years ago."

"But if we could cross this cliff," he looked back, "if we reached some places that our predecessors hadn't been to, maybe there would be a chance to get rich."

"But the locals do never come to this place, and the only ones who come here are our candidates."

"That's because it was once connected with the Pillars of Stars, which was the holy land of the Rotao people," the warrior replied, "I heard that a bloody incident occurred on the ground more than ten years ago, and a Knight of the Pillars of Stars, who guarded the Pillars of Stars escaped..."

"What does that have to do with us?"

The warrior was about to say something, but suddenly frowned.

He looked at Sidor who was still hanging on the cliff and said impatiently: "Sidor, when will you hang there? If you don't plan to continue, then we won't wait for you."

Sidor trembled all over and looked at him with a pale face.

"What's wrong?" The soldier was slightly stunned: "Do you have acrophobia?"

But he suddenly realized something was wrong. When he looked back, he found a slight "crack" and "crack" sound from the rock wall above. The ground seemed to be shaking slightly, and rustling stones were hanging down from the pointed rock.

landed at his feet.

For a moment, he even felt the rock under his feet moving. With a slight sound, Sidor below finally couldn't grasp the rock rush in his hand and rolled down with the broken rock.

A scream was made.

"Sidor!" the soldier shouted, but the shaking ground had almost made him unable to stand firm. He lay down and held the ground, "What's going on? Is the earthquake a shaking?"

But before he finished speaking, a pair of golden eyes suddenly opened in the darkness in the distance.

The heavy stone wall is collapsing—

The huge black shadow was slowly walking out of the darkness. The cold and golden eyes were almost as high as the cliffs, but it could not see the humble creatures on these cliffs, but it only gently shook off the gravel and dust on its body.

The soldier opened his mouth wide, and looked at this scene, feeling chill all over, and he couldn't help but make a giggle from his throat.

"interesting……"

“…that little guy.”

A low voice was coming from the darkness.
