164. Riding a pony

In Icelandic history, literature, poetry and folk stories, the figures of Icelandic horses are everywhere.

Icelanders love Icelandic horses. For them, this is the most loyal servant, the most cherished friend, and the most trustworthy partner. Before cars became popular, Icelandic transportation, travel and battles were all due to Icelandic horses.

In addition, for many people, Icelandic horses can accompany them for a long time. This type of horse has a longer lifespan and can live to 40 on average.

In the past, when life spans were shorter, it would be good for a person to live forty years after adulthood, so there was a tradition in the Viking era that when a person became an adult, his family would give him an Icelandic horse.

In this case, if this person cherishes life and regular schedules, he can send the horse away. If he is not in good health, he will be sent away by the Icelandic horse.

The Black Dragon Jimmy Ranch only circled the horses, and the ponies were grazing at will. They could do whatever they wanted, but they couldn't run far anyway.

As for theft? The ranchers are not afraid. It is easy to steal anything in Iceland, but they can’t steal horses. There is a provision in the first version of the law of Iceland that stealing other people’s horses will be sentenced to exile.

In this way, all horse thieves are exiles, and the law allows people to have the right to kill exiles, which means that if anyone steals the horse, everyone will be punished.

Rhine's suggestion to Chen Song was to buy two stallions, twenty mares and twenty ponies, of which ten of the twenty mares were cubs. Such horses had the healthiest age distribution.

Chen Song's goal was to raise fifty or sixty horses, because he had never raised animals before, so he had to practice his skills first.

There are many Icelandic horses in Jimmy Ranch in the Black Dragon. Finridge said that seeing Chen Song was very attracted, he warmly asked him to help him choose the horse.

Chen Song didn't want to be spoiled, so he shook his head and refused.

He wants to choose a horse himself, or to choose a horse by looking for a spirit.

Finridge called out his cowboys and invited Chen Song to say, "Let's ride a horse to drive out the horses together? You can ride a horse, right?"

Chen Song smiled and said, "I'm not very good at it."

"He has never rode a horse." Rhine could always find the right time to say the wrong words. Now that he is familiar with it, Chen Song understood why this guy couldn't make an appointment with a gun and couldn't do it.

Finridge was surprised and said, "You haven't ridden a horse? That's great. Today I'll teach you how to ride a horse."

When he said this, a very malicious smile rippled on his face.

Chen Song thought he was right because he would occasionally see similar smiles on his face, but every time he smiled like this, he would see beautiful women.

So he quickly refused: "Thank you, man, I don't think I need it."

Finridge showed extraordinary enthusiasm and pulled his arm and said, "You are about to raise a horse, how can you not ride a horse? Men are born to be knights, it doesn't matter, man, come, I will teach you how to ride a horse."

Chen Song was not used to such enthusiasm, so he said, "Actually, I can just ride a horse. What's the difficulty?"

Finridge whistled, and a pink pony ran over.

Chen Song widened his eyes. He knew that there was pink in the basic four coat colors of Icelandic horses, but it was rare to be so pure pink.

Finridge saw the surprise on his face and said proudly: "This is Xiao Qiqi, my beloved pet, Vince, do you have a pet?"

Chen Song nodded: "Yes."

“What is it?”

"Desert Eagle." Chen Song patted his waist.

Finridge thought he was joking, so he blew and asked, "How about it, is my beloved's fur very beautiful?"

“Beautiful.”

"I painted it with colored paint!"

Chen Song was shocked. Can he still operate like this?

His surprise caused Finridge to burst into laughter: "I'm just teasing you, Vince, you're so funny. I haven't seen such an interesting boy as you in a long time."

Chen Song couldn't stand it anymore, and he whispered to Rhein, "Are there any other horse farms nearby?"

"The best is here. I know you can't stand Fenrich's temperament, but I promise you that he is a good person and just likes to be funny."

Chen Song said helplessly: "But you have to know that I don't like being funny."

Rhine watched the fun heartlessly: "Haha, men, they have to endure something else in order to succeed."

Chen Song nodded and said, "Very good."

Then he walked to Finridge and said, "Your little Rhine's nephew just told me that he missed the days he spent in your ranch when he was a teenager."

Finlicker's eyes lit up.

After the pink horse ran over, a cowboy took out a carrot and handed it to Chen Song to feed the horse. This was a very fresh carrot. It was a high treatment for animals to eat in a place like Iceland that lacked vegetables.

Chen Song took the reins and fed it the carrots, and helped it comb the non-mainstream hairstyle on its head. During this period, the pink horse cooperated very well and showed a very innocent look.

But when he grabbed the saddle and was about to get on the horse, the pink horse jumped forward and backward irritably and refused to let him ride on it: Don't be beaten by me.

Chen Song was furious: "I'm going to give me my carrot!"

Finridge hurried over and hugged the horse's head. He said gently, "Wow, why did my little heart suddenly get angry? Oh, Dad know, you don't like this big brother, right? Okay, okay, it's okay, Dad is here, Dad is with you, we don't want the big brother..."

Another cowboy led a new horse, and Chen Song didn't believe in evil, and was ready to get the horse even if he was strong.

Finridge stopped him and smiled, "Hey, handsome guy, don't worry, we have a custom that if you don't know the name of a horse, you shouldn't ride it. If you want to ride a horse, you have to ask what it is called."

Chen Song asked: "If I ask it, will it answer?"

"I will answer it, ask." Finridge said happily.

Chen Song sighed, and had to look straight into Xiaoma's eyes and ask, "What's your name?"

"My name is Hui Fifteen." Finrich said softly.

Seeing that he had finished asking, Finridge urged again: "My man, keep talking, chat with this kid more and communicate more."

Chen Song shrugged and said, "Good name, why are you called Hui Fifteen?"

"Because I'm the fifteenth horse of gray."

Chen Song turned his head and said to Rhein: "In the future, someone said that I was fooling to name my pet, and I would definitely use this example to suck him in the face."

Hui Shiwu was a very gentle horse. Chen Song stayed with it for a while and tried to turn over the horse. The horse did not resist and let him sit on the saddle well.

The Icelandic horse is really small, and Chen Song's legs droop down and feels not far from the ground.

He was worried that he would crush the pony, but he was worried.

In addition to being the nickname of Wang Ying, the Icelandic horses also have the nickname of Dwarfs of Horses. They are small but strong and have great endurance. After Chen Song sat down, he swung the reins, and the pony ran on tiptoe.
