Chapter 33 The Four Great Bodhisattvas

The Great Sun Tathagata looked depressed and did not dare to take action ten thousand years ago. It has long been a knot that he has not yet solved. But now, this knot in his heart is not only unable to be solved, but will also become his lifelong nightmare.
If I had known today, I would have regretted it.
Chen Lian stood on the leaves of a dragon tree, rippling with the wind, and faced the unparalleled powerful people among the three major Buddhist sects alone. Even if he could not take it lightly, he could not take it lightly, but with the excellence of the three, he could not force Chen Lian out of the boxing method.
Among them, whether it is joy or disappointment, only he knows what he wants.
He faced the void, but seemed to look down at the three great Buddhist saints at different times, affecting their aura.
Manjushri, Samantabhadra and Great Sun Tathagata simultaneously had a thought in their minds that it was not easy to see Tathagata.
At this time, they could not tell whether the sound and color of the singular refinement was visible or invisible.
Manjushri's voice was like a crisp sound of Buddhist beads, gentle and clear, reaching the position where Chen Lian was. "Since the Heavenly Lord has surpassed us, what else do you want?"
Chen Lian didn't raise his head and chuckled, "Fellow Daoist Manjushri is afraid that I will meet you forever?"
Manjushri said with a stern voice: "I am not afraid of death."
Chen Lian chuckled again and said lightly: "The Buddha conferred the four great bodhisattvas, which meant that the earth, fire, water and wind were also a footnote to the formation, existence, destruction and emptiness. Now I have seen all the four great bodhisattvas, and they are all amazing, but I want to know how powerful it would be to join forces to deal with a person. So, go."
Manjushri and Samantabhadra couldn't help but look at each other, and they didn't expect that Chen Lian would not have the intention to kill them all. They were ready to fight to the death, but at this time they hesitated. It was not because of their vitality, but because of the four great Bodhisattvas mentioned by Chen Lian, who taught them to see a glimmer of hope for Chen Lian, the invincible existence.
The four great Bodhisattvas each have their own symbols, representing the main elements of the universe in the four Buddhist teachings of Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. If the four join forces, with the current realm of Ksitigarbha Hunyuan Wuji, it is almost possible to use the mysterious connection to exert the combat power of the four Hunyuan Wuji level.
At that time, even if Chen Lian saw the Bodhi tree and had some understanding, it would be impossible to compete with the four Hunyuan Wuji with one person's strength.
This is also the only way that Buddhism can punish Chen Lian, which is almost called the strongest man in ancient and modern times, but Chen Lian reminds them.
Whether he had a high opinion of himself or had a trump card, even with Manjushri's wisdom could not be thorough.
But Samantabhadra was brave and fearless, and made a great decision, saying, "Fellow Taoist Manjushri, Buddha, let's go."
The Tathagata of the Great Sun said, "The Heavenly Lord promised to let the two Taoist brothers go, but he didn't say let me go."
He did not believe that Chen Lian would be so kind, so he asked questions and continued to test Chen Lian's intentions.
Chen Lian said: "Since I can save the Buddha once, I can naturally let you go once."
Manjushri also woke up in shock. Before she could feel the decision of Pei Puxian, she immediately said: "Buddha, since the Heavenly Lord said so, let's go. The defeated general is not worthy of courage."
At this point, they had already seen their own hearts and had seen through their appearance. Manjushri had realized the great significance of the joint efforts of the four great bodhisattvas, so they walked faster, the better, so as not to repent.
After hearing Chen Lian's words, Tathagata felt relieved. He was born into a demon. Although he had entered the Buddhist path, his mind was not much more wise than Manjushri Samantabhadra. He could achieve his achievements today, and he had more or less talent.
What's more, I had a shadow on Chen Lian before, and after losing again, it would become an unresolvable knot in my heart, otherwise I would not have such doubts.
Since we have made a decision with the wisdom of Manjushri and the decisive Vajra, and we have also spoken in a deep and refined manner, we will no longer hesitate.
The three great Buddhist saints did not even care about the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and left in an instant without a trace.
The Pure Land where thousands of Buddhas came to pay homage to this past are even more deserted.
Chen Lian slowly landed on the ground as the three of them left, and realized that the earth energy of the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss continuously impacted his Dharma from the soles of his feet. It was the repulsion of Amitabha's Dharma mind.
He forced himself into the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and his biggest opponent was definitely not the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, but Amitabha.
The immeasurable and heavy power of the past life was pressed on his heart. If you relax a little, it would be the troublesome situation where the Monkey King was crushed to Wuzhishan.
Of course, this is not the reason why he let go of Manjushri, Samantabhadra and Tathagata, but Chen Lian really wants to try the power of the four great bodhisattvas to prove his own way.
If he had not had the thundering means, he would have shocked the three great Buddhist saints and made them desperate, and he would have been afraid that Manjushri and Samantabhadra would not have the intention of joining forces with Guanyin and Ksitigarbha.
Samantabhadra claims to be "making the cause with the result, and giving the result in the cause". How can we be able to make the cause and effect brilliant?
Putting aside the heavy calculations, the diligence made his Taoist heart clearer and clearer. The Taiyi Yuanshen, Taiji Yuanshen and Taisu Yuanshen, which had just a little climate, would antagonize Amitabha's vast and vast Dharma intentions.
A grain of sand in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss may hide the world, with hundreds of millions of devout Buddhists living in the Pure Land. Of course, a grain of sand may also be sand, and there is nothing else.
Even if the Great Sun Tathagata and others have received Amitabha’s Dharma, they cannot truly see the ultimate secret of the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
If we say that the vastness of the Pure Land is not inferior to that of the world, it is even more rare to be kind and harmonious, everywhere, even even, showing the equality of Buddhism.
Chen Lian knew that with his own ability, he would open up a similar vast world in a land of nothing, not without hope, but it would be impossible to achieve this equality.
This is the gap between him and Amitabha, and it is also an insurmountable distance at this stage.
None of the Taoist lords can be underestimated from ancient times to the present.
Fortunately, Shen Lian still has a way to find the Bodhi tree.
This starts with the root of the Bodhi tree. It is the most mysterious of the eight Taoist masters. In the past, Chen Lian and Yanxu fought against Fangcunshan, and unconsciously looked back and saw the Taoist master. He may be Bodhi, the master of the Great Sage of the Monkey King, and the Subhuti in the Buddhist Heart Sutra, or the Taoist Cunti among the Gods. He is also the Taoist master who cannot see through Chen Lian now.
Speaking of this Taoist lord's way of practice, it is different from Amitabha's great compassion, the supreme ruthlessness of the Taoist ancestor, and the foundation of his enlightenment is even confirmed by Chen Lian's past practice. It is similar to the practice purpose of Qingxuan Taoist sect. If you want to practice your actions, you should first cultivate your mind.
There is a sentence in the Buddhist scriptures, "How to subdue his heart," which is the best proof.
