Chapter five hundred and seventeen immortality

Although many people suspect that Peng Zu could not live beyond 800 years old, there is not much evidence that he does not live that long.

Even now, people generally believe that Peng Zu is the longest-lived person in history. There are legends in "Mandarin" and "Records of the Grand Historian" that he lived for 800 years.

Legend has it that Peng Zu was the great-grandson of Zhuanxu among the Five Ancient Emperors. He went through Yao and Shun, and the dynasties. By the end of the Yin and Shang dynasties, he was already 767 years old. According to legend, he lived more than 800 years old and was the person who knew the best way to maintain health and lived the longest.

His health preservation method was sorted out by later generations into a "Peng Zujing" that was passed down from generation to generation.

"Why did I hear that this statement is wrong?" At this time, Tang Baobao, who had been silent, spoke.

"Wrong? Are you wrong in history or the records of the Grand Historian?" Pang Tong asked with a smile.

Tang Baobao immediately raised his hand and said, "It's not what I said, it's what my father said. He said, this is actually a misunderstanding. The person who lives the longest in history was not Peng Zu. The reason for this misunderstanding was that in ancient my country, there was no unified standard for calculating the year."

"What your father said?" Yu Shan was also curious at this time.

Tang Baobao nodded and said, "Once one time, our family also talked about Peng Zu, saying that he lived 800 years old and was really long-lived. Later, my father said that this was because the number of days in a year was different from now, so there was such a misunderstanding."

"There is such a thing?" At this time, it was not only Yu Shan who was curious, but even the fifth sword and the others were curiously asking.

"If you don't believe it, check it out. Many people agree with this statement." Tang Baobao said.

Seeing Yushan and the others were not opposed, Tang Baobao continued: "Peng Zu was born in Pengshan, Sichuan, grew up in Pengshan, and lived in Pengshan in his later years. A 'Little Jiazi' method of counting year is still popular in the countryside of Pengshan, that is, 60 days are a year."

"Sixty days are one year?" Qian Xiaohao asked.

"There is really such a statement." Yu Shan quickly confirmed.

According to modern research, it is recorded from bamboo slips unearthed from Confucius' tomb that there is indeed a saying in ancient times that 60 days is 1 year old.

According to this, Peng Zu only lived in his 130s.

Historians also believe that the so-called Peng Zu's age is actually the age of existence in the Great Peng Kingdom, so Peng Zu actually lived only one hundred and thirty years old.

"One Hundred and Thirty is considered longevity. Now, not many of us humans can live beyond 100 years old." Qian Xiaohao said.

Yu Shan smiled at this time: "This is because you don't know the existence of those people. In fact, the length of the lifespan of some people can be compared with the legendary immortals."

"Don't talk about legendary characters, isn't it also considered that Peng Zu's famous character is only 130 years old? This time I support the baby." Pang Tong said with a smile.

Qian Xiaohao also said: "I also support the baby. Legend is a legend after all. Apart from legend, who can prove that someone can live beyond 120 years old? Even if there are several Guinness World records that are maintained, they are only 116 years old or 117 years old."

"I know this. The person with the highest life of life left in history, which seems to be Li Qingyuan of the Qing Dynasty, who lived 257 years old." At this time, Tang Baobao spoke in a low voice again.

"Ah?" Qian Xiaohao was stunned and said.

Pang Tong said with a confused look on his face: "Do you know this too?"

Tang Baobao curled his lips and said, "My mother gave science popularization because of Peng Zu, so she found such a person over 200 years old."

"Is there really someone over two hundred years old?" Wu Dao said in surprise.

Yu Shan smiled and said, "I have also heard of this character. I heard that he is a Chinese medicine doctor who pays great attention to health, so he is 256 years old."

Yu Shan is very concerned about whether cultivation can live longer. It can be said that since he broke through the innate world and met the Taoist lords and other people in the beautiful encounter group, he knew that there may be really gods in this world, so Yu Shan specially searched for information about this.

For example, Li Qingyuan is definitely a legendary figure. He was born in the 18th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1679), died in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), and was 257 years old.

Because he has extraordinary achievements and achievements in traditional Chinese medicine, especially in the study and practice of health preservation, his words and deeds were still like those of his prime, so he was praised as a "god".

Li Qingyuan was originally from Yunnan Province, also known as Li Qingyun. He went to Kaixian, Sichuan in his 90s to settle down. He married 24 wives in his life and had a lot of children and grandchildren. This is definitely not fake. Even if it is fake, it cannot be concealed.

In the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927), Li Qingyun went to Wanxian to teach the way of self-nourishment at the invitation of Sichuan warlord Yang Sen.

Yang Sen made Li Jingruo's guest guest and specially made new clothes for Li. He asked the photo studio to enlarge the photos and display them in the window, indicating that "Li Qingyun, a 250-year-old man in Kaixian, was photographed in Wanzhou in March of the 16th year of the Republic of China."

For a moment, newspapers in the province competed to report strange news, causing a sensation in Sichuan.

Because Li could not tell the secret of health care, he was sent back to Kaixian soon.

On September 15, the Wanzhou Daily published on September 15, 273-year-old Li Qingyun, a 273-year-old man from Kaixian, had already traveled from Chenjiachang to Wan on the night before and lived in Lijia Garden. The old man was invited by Commander Wang…”

When Li Qingyuan was 250 years old, his fellow townsman, Mr. Liu Chengxun from Kai County, Sichuan Province, made a special interview with him.

Li Qingyuan was very excited and quoted the classics and made a long and grand discussion on health preservation techniques. He talked about personal health preservation practices and the experiences and lessons of the ancient and modern health preservation. He was recorded in detail by Mr. Liu Chengxun and compiled into an article "Self-Report". He has been preserved in later generations and is still a famous health preservation work.

Liu Chengxun's interview recollection article was published in the sixth issue of "Qigong" magazine in 1986. It also published about 1,000 words of "Eternal Life" orally described by the birthday star Li Qingyuan.

At that time, some newspapers in the capital reported on the title "The Longest Liveable Man on Earth", but they were suspicious and denied by the Guinness World Records at that time. Later, it was verified by multiple researches.

The reason why Yu Shan paid attention to this long-lived old man was naturally not only because of his longevity, but because of his longevity.

Therefore, the "Eternal Life Determination" dictated by Li Qingyuan in the magazine "Qigong" is the focus of Yu Shan's research.

In the article "Authorization", Li Qingyuan believes that: A person's life span is long and short, which is dominated by vital energy. Vital energy, also known as original energy, is born from the innate and nourished by acquired prosperity. It originates from the kidneys, is stored in the dantian, and uses the three burners (upper, middle, and lower burners) to reach the whole body, promotes the activities of all organs and tissues such as the five internal organs and six organs, and is the source of biochemical power.

It is also because of this argument that Yu Shan has become more determined to practice the flowing of Ziwu. Li Qingyuan’s immortality and the flowing of Ziwu that Yu Shan practices are all methods that promote the five internal organs of the body and nourish all organs of the body. The fundamental practice is the vitality.

However, Li Qingyuan had to understand it thoroughly more than Yu Shan. For example, Li Qingyuan vividly compared love and not caring for vitality to the place where candles are stored.

If the lit candle is placed in the cage, it will burn for a long time; if it is placed in wind and rain, it will be short or extinguished immediately. The same is true for health preservation.

Li Qingyuan admired Lao Tzu's words very much: "Don't work hard on your body, don't shake your essence, and don't let your thoughts linger. Few ideas to nourish your spirit, few desires to nourish your essence, and few words to nourish your energy."

He said that the wonderful intentions in this are often ignored by mediocre people who are not good at maintaining health.

He also admired a passage from the Qing Dynasty scholar Lu Longqi: "Fine firewood and rice, worry-free, finish official grain early, do not be alarmed or humiliated, do not owe people debts to make profits, do not enter the house of the pawnshop, and only eat light tea and rice can prolong life."

Li Qingyuan said: "This is a true secret to health preservation and a good practice for longevity. You can live forever without collecting spiritual medicine and alchemy."

Based on the ancient health theory, he particularly emphasized that those who are good at health must take the four words of kindness, frugality, harmony and tranquility as the foundation.

When talking about his health experience, Li Qingyuan said: "If you don't eat enough, you will suffer from excessive weight. If you don't sleep for too long, your essence will be dissipated. If you have been alive for more than two hundred years, you have never eaten too much food, and you will not have a deep sleep for too long."

"Hunger, cold, pain and itch, parents cannot replace them, aging, sickness and death, and wives cannot replace them. Only the way of self-love and self-improvement is the principle and key to health preservation."

He also talked about precautions for details of life.

He pointed out that people are often prone to impatient in any small matter, and this will inevitably hurt their bodies.

He warned people: If you are not careful when you are cold or warm, you will be sick when you walk, and you will be drunk and lustful. If you are extremely injured, you will die.

Therefore, according to the health preservation techniques of our ancestors, we should not move quickly, our eyes should not look long, our ears should not listen very much, our ears should not be tired when we sit, and our slept without sucking. We should first wear cold and wear hot first, we should first eat hungry and eat thirst first, and drink thirst first, and we should not stop and be too much. We should not be happy, angry, sorrow and happiness should be tied to our hearts, and we should not be moved by wealth, honor and disgrace. This is the way to longevity.

Through these records, Yu Shan knew that the biggest possibility of this old man Li Qingyuan was a congenital qi refiner, so that he could live to more than 200 years old.

Of course, he may also be a master who practices Taoist art of tranquility and inaction. He pursues tranquility and far-reachingness, and inaction, so he can live long.

"Can you live forever with tranquility and inaction?" Yu Shui finally asked a question.

Yu Shan explained: "A large branch of health preservation is tranquility and inaction, especially when there is no practice, most people pursue this state, neither fighting nor robbing, no desire or seeking, and calm mind. This is the foundation of health preservation. However, such a method of cultivation cannot be achieved by ordinary people."

"Since you have no desires and no desires, what else can you seek for longevity? Or longevity? Since you have longevity, you will naturally not have no desires and no desires." Pang Tong said.

Yu Shan shook his head and said, "You think that people's usual state of mind is to have no desires and no desires, not to pursue immortality, but to have no desires and no desires and no desires and no desires and no desires and no desires, so they do not have too much utilitarianism, so they can achieve tranquility and inaction."
