As a top figure in domestic metallurgical process research, Zhao Zhimin is much more popular than it seems on the surface. At least in terms of scale, Meigang cannot be regarded as conspicuous among the steel companies that invited Zhao Zhimin to join.

People go to high places and water flows to low places. Meigang can get high salaries, and private steel enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang can also get high salaries. In terms of employment, life and future development prospects, Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions are obviously more advantageous than Donghua.

Meixi Town is well built, but after all, it is just a small town. Donghua is generally lagging behind developed cities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and it is even worse than first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

With an annual salary of 100,000 or 80,000, doctoral students like Han Wenji and some outstanding talents who have returned from studying abroad will not even look at Donghua.

Only when Zhao Zhimin joins Meigang can Meigang develop through him, attracting his students and outstanding students in research leaders.

The establishment of the Municipal Forging Factory was no longer than that of the Municipal Steel Plant and Meigang, and it was the first to produce shaft forging parts. When Donghua Iron and Steel Industry became large in the mid-to-late 1980s, the main business of the Municipal Forging Factory turned to the production of various types of non-standard steel structural parts for the steel plant.

The scale of the municipal forging factory seems to be small, and it has many difficulties in recent years and has caused many factors, but it is also directly related to the fact that the steel industry in the entire Huaihai Province has not developed much in the past few years.

In a sense, it can be said that the Municipal Forging and Pressing Factory is both a current supplier of Meigang and a potential customer of Meigang in the future. This is also the main reason why Shen Huai strongly intervened in the Municipal Forging and Pressing Factory at the end of last year.

Shen Huai and Zhao Dong and others have studied the municipal forging factory under Zhao Yicheng's leadership. Although it has been difficult to turn losses into profits and cannot expand its business due to severe drag on the debt of the triangle, the production order after self-regulation must be considered good in so many state-owned factories in the city.

In the early stage of the construction of Meigang New Factory, the orders placed by the Municipal Forging Factory exceeded the total business volume last year.

Leaving some less important structural parts to the municipal forging factory for processing and production can reduce the construction cost of the Meigang new factory. On the more important aspect, steel structural parts, especially steel structures with a wide range of uses and steel products with extremely strong market demand, most steel enterprises at home and abroad directly control heavy industry enterprises that produce steel products and expand their market share.

Shen Huai considered first to restore the normal production order of the forging factory in the city, and then directly control it through debt-to-equity conversion, focusing on developing standard steel products and enriching Mei Steel's product line, so as to break through the current single product pattern that can only supply rebar to the market.
