Chapter 156 The real playoffs(1/2)

May 22, match day.

The Pistons arrived in Indiana in the morning, and Larry Brown ordered that players not be allowed to be interviewed. Before the game began, they didn't want to be distracted by anything.

Moreover, the Pacers happen to be a team that likes to whine in front of the media (this is a good habit that only happened after Xie Hou arrived), so doing will allow the team to concentrate on preparing for tonight's game.

An old-school coach like Brown has his own plan for controlling the team.

Since Brown's control over the team is like a military coach, the only exchange before the Pistons meet the Pacers at the Banker Life Stadium was the afternoon call between Shehou and Anthony.

The conversation is as follows:

"Arthur."

"well."

"I'm going to beat you up tonight!"

"OK."

Just a few words, when Xie Hou and Anthony met, the revolutionary friendship that shared the same hatred against the second grade on the All-Star weekend was burned a few months ago.

Bilups deliberately brought Anthony to meet Xie Hou.

Anthony held Wallace on the left and Billups on the right, and met with Sherlock, Artest and O'Neal Jr.

Since both parties are not very familiar with each other, this meeting was just a hypocritical greeting, and then both parties couldn't wait to turn around and warm up.

"We've obviously reached the Eastern Conference Finals, but how do I feel that the real playoffs have officially started tonight?" Bobby Leonard's words were enough to get him blacklisted by the Clevelanders and the New Orleans.

McGuinness nodded and said, "That's true. The Pacers have not encountered any decent resistance before. Strictly speaking, starting tonight will be a real playoff showdown."

Very good, the master and apprentice joined hands to join the blacklist of the Clevelanders and the New Orleans.

Although they didn't care, the meaning of the competition between the two sides was obvious from the time of warm-up.

Two young men on the Pistons took turns to dunk, Prince and Anthony were dunking each one more vigorously.

How could the Pacers be stolen by people as hosts? Miller pointed at the basket and shouted like a dog biting the owner: "Arthur, get on!"

Then Xie Hou fell into a cliché under the oppression of the old bird in the team, and played a few dunks that excited the audience to get back to the scene.

The warm-up time slowly came to an end, the technical station whistled, and all the players on both sides ended.

"Remember, our advantage is the offense."

Claire said this before he got on the court.

It's not just a saying that the Pacers have a championship appearance. They may be the top three offensive teams in the league and the defensive team second only to the Pistons.

A great champion team will definitely have few shortcomings on both offense and defense.

The Pistons have a fatal point that they have to solve is the lack of superstars who can break the deadlock on the offensive end, which is also the reason Anthony is highly anticipated.

But tonight, the highly anticipated Anthony was not on the list.

"Cameron Anthony, the first-year star who was ordered to play well in the semi-finals, did not appear. It seems that coach Brown still has some reservations," said Leonard.

McGuinness's expression is very wonderful, Brown's resume is outdated, and players of his era know how harsh Brown is against rookies.

If Anthony hadn't led the team to win the championship in the first grade, NCAA had nothing to nostalgic for him, and Brown might think that he was not strong enough to become an nBa player and thus suppressed his playing time.

Anthony was recognized for his own efforts, and his playing time increased all the way, successfully assisting the team in two semi-finals.

Such performance still did not allow him to gain Brown's trust. This is not a reservation, but simply distrust of a rookie like Anthony to control the overall situation.

Before the opening, Pacers' Hall of Fame center Mel Daniels gave a demonstration ball for everyone.

The old man is very reserved. He and McGuinness are players of the same era, but they are older and retired before the league merges. With the aBa League, they have become the dust of history. Apart from Pacers fans, few people know his name.

Although the Pacers have a long history, there are only a handful of celebrity players produced.

Today, their team's best player is still playing. Two celebrities who have enjoyed the honor of retired jerseys are all sitting in the commentary seat. One of the other two celebrities from the ABa era is Daniels.

A celebrity throws a ball with a sense of ritual, because no matter whether he does it well or not, he will not count.

Daniels threw the ball up, and O'Neal Jr. raised his hand to catch it.

"Come on."

Daniels shyly encouraged the younger generations in front of him.

"Let's applause thanks Mel!"

The dJ shouted, and the audience gave the audience applause and cheers, giving the famous player who had been retired for decades a decent welcome ceremony.

After a brief commotion, the referee threw the ball into the air, O'Neal Jr. caught the ball, and the game officially began.

There is some difference between Pistons and regular season.

Tonight's small forward is not Prince, nor Anthony, but the 95-generation lottery pick Collis Williamson.

The piston's flank team has a strong reserve, including spider monsters like Prince, muscular tough guys like Williamson (2o1 cm high and 112 kilograms), and a superstar seedling with unlimited potential like Anthony.

Brown undoubtedly did some research on Xie Hou.

Xie Hou is indeed the worst at dealing with Prince's inside lineman, but few people in the league can have enough size, weight and good flexibility like Williamson.

If Prince came, Xie Hou might use his back to break through the situation. He would have to worry more when facing heavy tanks like Williamson.

Williamson also knew his mission, his center of gravity was lowered, and he was ready to fight against Xie Hou at any time. His weight was placed here, and if he didn't seek confrontation, he would be so fat.

Xie Hou held the ball on the top of the arc and suddenly changed direction and swayed past Williamson. The problem with his weight was insufficient horizontal movement, which was Xie Hou's breakthrough.

Xie Hou shook past Williamson and made a quick stop and jump shot from the right side of the free throw line.

But it felt bad when he took action. Xie Hou shouted for a rebound. Kirilianko entered and grabbed the offensive rebound and scored a tip-in.

2 to o

When Brown saw Williamson passing by by Xie Hou, he felt bad.

Too easy.

This defense just now shows that Williamson's lateral movement will be a fatal flaw. He may not be able to use his body to be destroyed by Xie Hou's breakthrough.

The Pistons' offense was very fast. The cars from Auto City were filled with excellent machines. Rashid Wallace first covered the screen and then pulled it open. The ball was received at the forty-five degrees from the right outside the three-point line. The Russian defense did not take the position in time. He roared Tianzun to shoot an arrow with a bow and hit a three-pointer.

3 to 2

Xie Hou quickly dribbled the ball to the frontcourt. He just stood there, but wanted to break through but saw that Rashid's position was particularly inward.

"Good opportunity!"

Xie Hou passed the ball to Kirilenko who cut out.

ak47 fake action point passed Rashid and was about to attack inward, but his feet slipped.

I don’t know if the floor was unclean or the pressure from the pistons was too great, but as soon as the game started, the tense atmosphere made the steady Russian slip and dribble mistakes.

"Return to defend!"

"The Pistons' defense is really oppressive!"

The moment Leonard and McGuinness's voice fell, Xie Hou chased back as if he had the help of God, and gave Billups a cap.

Artest followed up and picked up the defensive rebound, blew a counterattack horn, and then relied on his steel and iron bones to kill the iron barrel formation.

"Atai, wait!"

Xie Hou shouted, it was still a little late.

Artest ran into Williamson, who should have defended Xie Hou head-on. The result of the encounter between the two muscle monsters was that both sides suffered losses.

As a quarrel, Williamson is not afraid of spending with Artest at all.

Artest only thought that a small minion like Williamson could not capture him, and with a little contempt, he would forcefully break through the defense.

Williamson's confrontation shocked Artest.

However, Rashid's contraction defense and the indirect participation in releasing defensive pressure are the key to forcing Artest to miss the ball.

How important it is to play basketball with your brain!

Xie Hou didn't expect that Hong Kong would go back to defend after halftime. No matter how fast he ran, he could not be faster than a long pass.

Billups stood comfortably in the backcourt to catch the ball and scored.

Xie Hou rushed back then.

He watched Billups whistle, put the ball on the ground, and slowly ran backwards.

Suddenly, Xie Hou heard him say, "It's time to wake you up from the dream of being the first in the league, my dear king."

Xie Hou gave the ball to Artest, and he wanted to charge again.

"Give me the ball!"

Although Artest is easy to burn his brain, he knows who to hand the ball to.

Just like a robot receiving the instruction, he threw the ball to Xie Hou.

"Arthur!"

Kirilian Kobe made a gesture and Xie Hou nodded.
