Chapter 43: 40 points(2/2)

The next morning.

The village chief walked over with a bamboo pole and saw a big hole in the wall and window. He was surprised and said, "This...what is going on? Did you meet that monster last night?"

"It's nothing. Two thieves came and were beaten away by us. My father-in-law, let's leave now and don't continue to bother. Please let our horses come out."

Qi Yun said.

"A thief?"

The village chief's face changed slightly, and he asked repeatedly: "Didn't you see the monster?"

"No."

Qi Yun shook his head.

The village chief walked over and opened the cowshed, led all the horses inside, and said, "The four people didn't get up yesterday, so I'll call them."

"They have left this morning and said that the horses will stay here for the time being and come and take them back in the future."

Qi Yun said.

"Leave?"

The village chief was even more suspicious and walked towards the yard with a bamboo pole, preparing to go and see it in person.

Ada and the others quickly got into the carriage, Qi Yun stepped in and sat down, and the group left.

It is not too far from here to Dongliu Town, and it has arrived in about three hours.

I didn't encounter anything else along the way.

Dongliu Town is near.

Since it was occupied by the Haisha Gang, a layer of earth wall was built outside, like a small town. Ada rushed directly to the carriage and walked inside.

"Second Master, what should I do later?"

Ada asked in a low voice.

"First be polite and then fight, find out the strength of the evil-raising army before taking action."

Qi Yun said as he gently opened the car window and looked outside.

There were many townsmen walking around on the street. Each townsmen looked a little bit muddy, their skin was sallow, and their lower eyelids were stained with thick dark circles, as if they were suffering from severe sleep deprivation.

What's even more strange is that the whole town is extremely quiet.

The townsmen walked around without making any noise. The people who set up stalls on both sides were all blank, neither shouting nor greeting guests. They sat there, like wooden carvings, motionless.

Qi Yun frowned.

This Dongliu Town is a bit abnormal.

"Well."

Li Qing stopped his horse and asked a person passing by with a shoulder pole, saying, "Hey, man, how can the Haisha Gang get there?"

The man was a tall and thin man with a blank expression and thick circles of eyes. He paused, looked back at Li Qing, then pointed his finger behind, without saying a word, and left the place with a shoulder pole.

Li Qing frowned and glanced at him.

"strangeness."

"Second Master, it seems that something is wrong with the people in this town?"

Ada also asked in confusion.

"It's wrong. I don't know if it's related to the Haisha Gang, so go to their place first."

Qi Yun said.

"good."

Ada nodded and drove over in the carriage.

Soon, they arrived in front of a magnificent building. The carriage stopped, and Qi Yun walked out of the carriage with his iron rod.

A red plaque hung above the building, with three large lacquered gold characters [Haisha Gang] written on it.

There are two doors standing on both sides, with long, big and round waists, but like the villagers outside, their skin is sallow and thick dark circles.

Regarding Qi Yun and the others' arrival, the two men looked blank and didn't ask much, as if they didn't see it.

Qi Yun and others were even more confused.

"Where is your gang leader? Tell your gang leader that the Qinglong gang is here to visit!"

Ada walked over and shouted in a deep voice.

A doorman looked at Ada in a hunch, nodded, turned around and went in to report.

Another student was still standing still.

Qi Yun looked at this door quietly.

He now had a strange feeling, as if the person in front of him had no soul, and seemed to have only an empty body.

To Qi Yun's eyes, the disciple had no feeling, it was like a statue.

Soon, Yu Ruhai, the leader of the Haisha Gang, came over.
