246: Working with Guy?

Bynum's patch completely ignited Staples. The thing Hollins was most worried about before the game still happened. The Black and White Bears no longer had the advantage in front of the Lakers' championship double towers.

Bynum's wild growth and Randolph's poor state have caused subtle changes in the inside strength of both sides.

At present, the Grizzlies have not yet scored, and the Lakers have successfully scored in two consecutive rounds. Hollins is a little anxious, but he has to look at a few more rounds.

This time, the Grizzlies decided to attack from the outside. Link used the cover of the ball to throw away Kobe and cut into the penalty area. Conley's pass arrived immediately and Link got the opportunity to attack the box.

"Under the basket, under the basket!" However, as soon as Link received the basketball, he heard Kobe shouting behind him. The next second, Bynum and Gasol appeared in front of Link!

"Damn! I'm really quick to make up!" Link sent the ball accurately to Randolph in desperation, who shot from a close range!

But Gasol is still making up for it very quickly, and he has a height advantage.

Randolph's shot was seriously disturbed and he hit the frame again!

Many people think that shooting is just a job in their hands, but the most basic action of shooting pays attention to the balance of the whole body. Randolph's knee discomfort makes it difficult for him to exert force on his legs, which actually affects his shooting percentage very much.

Link jumped up and prepared to grab the board, but found that he was hit hard. It was Bynum, who brutally knocked away Link in the air and protected the rebound again!

"Isn't this a foul?? Are you sure you know the rules of basketball games??" Hollins yelled at the referee under the court, but to no avail.

"The Lakers do have some physical contact, but there is no foul." The referee responded, leaving Hollins speechless.

The Lakers continued to attack, but the Grizzlies still didn't score!

Kobe finally played a pick-and-roll with Bynum this time. Link wanted to go around quickly, but Bynum's cover quality was very high, and Link was blocked by Zha!

Kobe took the opportunity to break through and made a layup under Randolph's interference.

6-0, the Los Angeles Lakers made a nearly perfect start! Hollins stood on the sidelines angrily. The Lakers were very arrogant today, and it was clearly just to catch Randolph's point.

Randolph's last round rest, although the Grizzlies did not announce the specific reasons to the public. I believe that the members of the Lakers' coaching staff have guessed some of them.

In the last game, there was no Randolph, and the Grizzlies were attacked by the Jazz in the interior and were so hard that they could not take care of themselves. Today, the Lakers naturally may have a wave of red.

The Grizzlies finally broke the scoring drought after Rudy Guy succeeded in singles. Mitchell at the scene also teased, "It depends on Guy's such a difficult time. Link has obviously been fooled by Kobe!"

The debate over who Gay and Link are the core of the outside of the Grizzlies has never stopped this season. Although Link and Guy get along well in the team. They are not friends, but they are not hostile to each other. But for outsiders, Link and Guy already have a certain competitive relationship.

Now that Guy stands up and helps the Grizzlies break the scoring drought, he naturally gains the upper hand in this argument.

However, Guy's goal did not completely solve the problem. Because the Lakers put Gasol on the next round.

This time, without fancy cooperation, Kobe did not take the ball alone by himself. Paul Gasol directly leaned against Randolph and started asking for the ball. The Lakers' attempt to play Randolph has reached the point where there is no need to hide it!

"Sunday, I'm coming to me!" Randolph roared in his heart, and was regarded as an "ATM" by others. Randolph of course was very unhappy.

The big black bear had enough momentum, but his knees were not very good. Gasol sat back two steps, but Randolph could not hold it back at all. In the end, Gasol, who was 2.13 meters tall, turned over and hooked up, and Randolph was beyond the reach of such an attack.

"Brush!" Gasol's scoring ability is indeed several levels better than his younger brother Mark. His hook is soft and he is hit by Randolph again!

"8-2, Paul Gasol's goal further consolidated the Lakers' advantage. The Lakers are very strong today. Since Bynum returned, the Lakers seem to be ready to get on the right track!"

"Suspend, pause!" Hollins shook his head and had to stop the game. The buzzer made a loud noise, and the battle between the two sides was temporarily terminated.

Kobe looked at Link before leaving the court. After playing in a few rounds today, Link didn't even get a single data. There is no doubt that Kobe's limit on Link was quite successful.

Come to the final battle Sunday, Kobe didn't joke with Link!

"Damn it, if I could wrap my bandages or wear protective gear, the situation would be better!" Randolph began to complain about himself as soon as the game was over. He knew very well that he had been targeted completely.

"Let's take a break for Zach, calm down." Hollins first comforted Randolph, then turned his head to look at the end of the bench, the guy with a small sarcoma on his head.

"Malice, come here! I want you to replace Zach and open up space for Link and Guy on the offensive end!" Hollins finally made the decision, and the time to test the depth of the Grizzlies' bench!

Spetz was a little surprised because he had never appeared so early this season. But soon, he took off his training suit and ran to Hollins.

Spetz is not tall, but he is very big. Like "big baby" Davis, he feels a little fat.

But don't be confused by his size. Spetz has the advantage of moving fast on the basketball court.

"Link, Rudy, I need you to start the offense! Use your firepower to fight against the Lakers' defense! I need you two to increase the number of cooperation times and pass the balls to each other, so that the Lakers can't figure out who you will take!"

Listening to Hollins' arrangement, Link and Guy looked at each other and nodded slightly.

Joining hands with Guy to attack? Link has never tried it before.

"As for you, Spetz, as I said, open up the space and use the three-pointer you have worked hard to open up the space. As long as you can shoot one, the Lakers are afraid of you! I don't want to see the Lakers' double towers piled up at the basket, do you understand!"

"I understand, leave it to me. I will also deal with the Spaniards on the defensive end." Spetz responded confidently.

"Very good, I know we're in trouble, but that's not the biggest trouble we've ever had. 6 points, you should be equalizing me soon, right?"

"Yes!" The generals of the Grizzly Bears answered in unison, and at the same time, the buzzer made another sound, and the pause ended!

Link was about to play, but was caught by Randolph on the bench, "Leave it to you and Rudy, let the Los Angeles people see our gorgeous offense."

"Don't worry, rest, Zach. When your knees are so brisk, you will be on the court and you will be in a mess. Until then, you don't have to worry about anything!" Link smiled and stepped into the court.

Soon people discovered that the Grizzlies had substitutions. Marlis Spetz, a fat inside player, couldn't even name them. After all, Spetz has never been a star.

Since college, Spetz has always been an inconspicuous "little character". At the University of Florida, Spetz has two inside players, Noah and Horford, which has caused him to have no playing time at all. After Noah and Horford participated in the draft, Spetz has also lived under the halo of both of them.

Compared with those two seniors, Spetz's data and performance are naturally not amazing, so Spetz has never attracted much attention.

But Link knew very well that Spetz was the kind of player who didn't care about data and fame, but was always passionate about the game. The Lakers' championship double towers could be really upset by this unknown guy.

But before that, Link has something to do to cooperate with Guy on the offensive end.

Until Guy became the third scorer this season, he still played in his core style. With a large number of ball holdings, he had few assists, and he could say that he almost didn't pass the ball!

A man like Westbrook is averaging 8 assists per game. After all, the ball is mostly in his hands, and even if he is not good at organizing, he can easily play such assists. And Guy, with a large number of balls, averages only 2 assists per game, which shows how "core" his style is.

Guy usually stands up and uses personal abilities to solve problems when Link and Randolph have no chance. But at this time, Hollins asked Link and Guy to cooperate! Link was looking forward to it because after staying with the Grizzlies for a year, he didn't know what it felt like to cooperate with Guy.

Don't think this is exaggerated. Players with core playing style rarely cooperate with their teammates. Later, Nick Young even set a record of assisting Kobe for the first time in two and a half years with Kobe.

After returning from the timeout, Conley handed the ball to Link early on. Link faced Kobe and observed the situation on the court.

The champion's double towers are still guarding near the penalty area. Once they break through, they will fall into a defensive trap. Guy is trying to get rid of it, but Matt Barnes's "mad dog" bites Guy.

Link then called Speitz to cover and then broke through immediately!

Spetz is a bad guy, and there is no dispute. On the basketball court, Spetz has always been known for being rough. So even in the pick-and-roll, Spetz puts great pressure on Kobe.

When Kobe passed away Spetts and followed him out, Link had already broken into the penalty area.

At the same time, Gasol Jr. followed the defense to the basket, and he was still creating defensive traps for Link.

But Link won't be fooled, he passes the ball back to the outside line. At one step inside the three-point line, Spetz catches the ball and shoots!

"Gasol ignored Spetz, it would cost him the price!" As soon as Kevin Harlan finished speaking, the Nets' rolling voice rushed into his ears.

Spetz made a long-distance shot from mid-range, and the Grizzlies recovered some scores 4-8. And Link's data table is no longer 0!

Sure enough, as long as there is a little chance, you can expand infinite possibilities!

"Thank you guys!" Spetz was in a good mood after scoring the goal and pointed at Link with a smile.

Link nodded slightly and indicated that the meaning of this mid-range shot was not just two points. After this goal, Gasol knew how powerful Spetz was in the shooting and would never let him go.

This means that the Lakers' penalty area will be less support from one tower!
