828: LeBron's desire to win

On October 28, the average temperature in Memphis was close to single digits.

But even so, the temperature around the Federal Express Arena is as fanatical as summer.

The 14-15 season is considered to be the most fierce competition in the NBA in recent years.

The Spurs are old, but they are determined to be a thousand miles away. The Thunder have experienced another year of experience and become more mature. The Clippers, Trail Blazers and Rockets all have the possibility of entering the No. 1 Group.

The Lakers welcomed Kobe back, the Bulls finally waited for the "Rose", and the Clevelanders also waited for their "king".

Judging from the books, it seems that no team has an overwhelming advantage. Each of them has the opportunity to win the championship.

But Link's sentence "The champion will always be the champion before it falls", made everyone gasp.

Being able to say this when the situation is so chaotic, at least Link does show his domineering aura as the defending champion!

Of course, it has also greatly increased the desire of fans outside Memphis to win!

The champion will always be the champion before it falls? OK, then let the champion fall!

So tonight, five hours before the start of the game, there were already people queuing up in the outer square of the Federal Express Arena! In addition to fans, ESPN's news broadcasting cars and news helicopters also surrounded the NBA's most literary and artistic stadium tightly.

This is the most highly anticipated NBA opener since the opening match between the Heat vs. the Celtics in 2010!

Espn predicts that the ratings of this opener may even surpass the ratings of the Heat when its debut in 2010. This is a feast for fans around the world!

The strangest thing is that this game that is about to create a ratings myth was caused by two small-scale teams.

The Cavaliers' team bus arrived at the stadium two and a half hours before the start of the game.

LeBron James looked serious when facing the cameras of the reporters. He said bluntly, "I really hope to win the first victory of the new season for Cleveland. We are ready and we are full of confidence!"

James knew very well that he left Miami for the championship and defeated the Grizzlies!

James also has feelings for Miami. This summer, when Pat Riley came to visit the Heat with the championship trophy that the Heat won in 11 years and a bottle of red wine called "Promise", and took out an easel full of pictures to show James which free agents the Heat will chase, James was almost moved.

But an hour after Pat Riley left, James sent a text message, "I want to say thank you for these four years."

For James, that was indeed not an easy decision. But for the championship, James was willing to make such a cruel decision!

Last season, the Heat won the Grizzlies' 72nd victory and the second championship trophy. James knew better than anyone else that the elderly Wade and Bosh were no longer able to resist Link with him.

So, James must leave!

If the Knights come, they are still helpless against the Grizzlies, then what is the point of his departure?

Therefore, James' desire to win today is not low at all. Don't look at James's verbal battle with Link online, don't look at him always being full of generals.

But in fact, James wants to win more than anyone else!

When James, Love and Irving were warming up, the 81-year-old Hubby Brown did feel a sense of oppression.

Regardless of whether the Cavaliers can win the championship this year, Brown believes that James is a magical player.

Because there is no player in NBA history, it can continuously promote the birth of two historical trios.

That's right, in Hubby Brown's view, it was James who led to the Cavaliers' Big Three. He didn't believe that the Cleveland Cavaliers could create all this. All transfers, transactions, and signings should be under the control of James and his manager!

When the Heat Big Three had lost its deterrence, James used a young version of the Big Three to spread the oppression to every corner of the league.

That's all, James is indeed the first in history. There is no star in the league anymore, and he has the privilege and strength to build his own lineup.

In fact, it was not just Hubby Brown, but the Grizzlies players in the stands also felt oppression.

A pride of heaven who is below one person and above ten thousand people, a No. 1 point guard with a full potential, a super power forward who averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game last season, and a coach with outstanding achievements in European and international basketball.

The Cavaliers' paper lineup is indeed too powerful!

But this sense of oppression did not last long in the Federal Express Arena. When fans saw Link leading those familiar faces on the field, the sense of oppression brought by the Cavaliers disappeared instantly.

Seeing Link, Memphis seemed to see hope! With Link here, the Federal Express Arena would not fall!

"The players of the Memphis Grizzlies have finally made their debut! Last season, they won 74 wins and won the championship, and will face the strongest opponents here and defend their home court!"

Hubby Brown screamed in excitement. The two teams just appeared to warm up, which made the atmosphere on the scene as hot as a volcano erupt.

Link looked at James with a serious face and did not go up to say hello, but smiled and pointed to the stands.

James turned his head and looked in the direction of Link's finger, and his expression instantly became quite ugly.

It turned out that in the direction Link pointed, a fan raised a huge poster. The poster was printed with a picture that was one of the most classic moments in NBA history.

On the poster, James kneeling on one knee and Link holding up his arms are only a midline between them. Failure and victory, winners and losers, joy and unwillingness, mediocrity and champions are just a line away!

Seeing this poster, all the losses from last season's finals immediately jumped into James' mind. This poster undoubtedly touched the pain points in James' heart!

James turned his head angrily and continued to warm up. He wanted to double the pain the Grizzlies gave him half a year ago!

Half an hour before the game started, the Grizzlies held a ceremony for the championship ring at home. In addition to Vince Carter, the new player, every Grizzlies player present received their second championship ring.

At the same time, the second NBA championship banner in the team history was also raised on the dome of the Federal Express Arena.

James was even more jealous when he saw these. Originally, all these honors belonged to Miami.

"Remember, let's focus on Link! As long as he gets close to the basket, double-team it! The rest of the Grizzlies cannot carry the offense alone, so as long as Link is restricted, we have hope!"

While the Grizzlies were performing these rituals, the experienced David Blatt also pulled down his five tigers and emphasized the Cavaliers' defense today.

James also agrees with Blatt's arrangement. If you want to beat the Grizzlies, you must fight Link to death!

Last season, the Heat really didn't have enough staffing to fight Link. But now it's different. Even if James tried his best to die with Link on the defensive end, the Cavaliers still had two scoring points, Irving and Love.

Those two guys are enough to lead the Cavaliers to defeat the rest of the Grizzlies!

Blatt and James had a good plan and were waiting for a big victory.

But as soon as the Grizzlies' Five Tigers came on the court, their plans were in a mess.

"Jimmy Butler! Coach Joggel decided to use the preseason game and took Jimmy Butler first! And Iguodala, who was left behind by the Grizzlies for a lot of money this summer, sat on the bench. I'm very curious about how Coach Joggel arranged this."

Hubby Brown was as surprised as James. Riggel made Butler the preseason, and everyone thought the Grizzlies were just testing the lineup. But unexpectedly, his position was at the beginning of the regular season.

Before the game started, Link came to Butler's ear and muttered to him.

Seeing this scene, LeBron James couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

Anyone who knows Link knows that once Link conspires with his teammates, nothing will happen!
