Chapter 1337 stunned

"Wow..." A huge wave sounded, and then a huge black shadow suddenly enveloped the fishing boat where Leng Xin, Xu Chang and Xu Jie were located.

Although this figure is more than 100 meters away from Leng Xin and the others, it is enough for Leng Xin and the others to see everything about this huge figure.

This huge figure is about twenty-five meters long and has a width of about four or five meters. The color of the body is a sea-colored body. Therefore, the hidden function of these sand tiger sharks in the ocean just now was very strong. If the sand tiger shark had not just jumped out of the sea, Leng Xin and the others would not have known that the size of the sand tiger shark in the martial arts secret realm would be so large.

In addition to these, the body of the sand tiger shark is even more mottled. This is the medal of the sand tiger shark and the medal of fighting.

Looking at the wounds on the Shahu Shark's body, Leng Xin, Xu Chang, Xu Jie and others knew very well that the sand tiger shark would have experienced no less battles. What kind of strength would the Shahu Shark who survived such a cruel battle? Leng Xin, Monkey, Xu Chang, Xu Jie all looked at each other, and in the eyes of each other, they were shocked.

After seeing the huge figure of the sand tiger shark, Leng Xin, Xu Chang and Xu Jie almost popped out their eyes. The size of this sand tiger shark is too large, it is beyond their imagination.

However, soon, Leng Xin, Xu Chang and Xu Jie were relieved. This place is a martial arts world. It is understandable that the young sand tiger shark grew into such a huge size.

Even the wild beasts in the forest in the Jade Area are much larger in size than those on Earth. The best examples are pheasants, wild ducks, hares, etc.

Their size in the martial arts secret realm is three or four times larger than on the earth, and the resistance of these wild animals is several times stronger than that of the same species on the earth. If you are not careful, you will be really injured by these wild animals!

"Brother. We are now..." Xu Jie couldn't say anything, but Xu Chang saw clearly the shock and the painful look in his eyes. Xu Chang knew that this was because Xiao Jie was now frightened by the huge body of the sand tiger shark. Xiao Jie had lost the belief in survival.

"Xiaojie, don't be scared by the sand tiger shark. We are the sons of fishermen. We have been growing up in storms since we were young. Think about the powerful storm we encountered when we followed our father to fish when we were five years old. At that time, half of our fishing boats were already in the sea, but we were not safe to return home.

Even after we grew up, we had encountered more than a dozen storms, but we finally returned home safely. We had experienced such a powerful and desperate storm so many times. Now we are just a slightly larger sand tiger shark, Xiaojie. Are you afraid?!

Xiaojie, if you knock you down just a sand tiger shark, then are you worthy of being the son of a fisherman and the children of the sea?

Xiaojie, we are the sons of the sea. No matter how dangerous things are, we will not be afraid. Xiaojie, show us our confidence in fighting the Storm. We will definitely be able to go back."

The experience of fighting against the storm for a long time has trained Xu Chang's strong heart. So, even if the danger they encountered now is beyond their imagination, Xu Chang still did not fall down, and he was still cheering Xu Jie on.

After hearing what Xu Chang said, Xu Jie quickly recalled the dozen storms he experienced since he was a child. The power of those storms was much more powerful than the power of the current sand tiger shark.

Faced with such a powerful storm, I was able to escape safely. Now, I just wanted to give up when facing some sand tiger sharks. I was really... Thinking of this, Xu Jie began to secretly despise his timidity just now.

"Brother, you are right. I can win such a powerful storm. Now it's just some sand tiger sharks. I won't be afraid. Brother, we will go home safely!"

Xu Jie stretched out his right hand to Xu Chang with a confident look on his face. He defeated the inner demon called "Fear" in his heart. Seeing the confidence on Xu Jie's face, Xu Chang also smiled, and the confident brother was back.

"Okay, Xiaojie, let's go home safely together." Xu Chang gently hit Xu Jie's right hand with his right hand, and then he tightly held Xu Jie's right hand, and the two brothers' eyes were full of fighting spirit!

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

"This..., this... isn't it too exaggerated? Brother, I'm not dreaming!" The monkey looked unconfident on his face, and he even bit his right hand hard and said, "Oh..."

The severe pain told the monkey very clearly that what he saw now was the facts, not something he was dreaming. "Brother, are the fish we just prepared enough? I see that the fish we prepared were not enough for this sand tiger shark to swallow in one bite. In this case, our plan just now would not have failed."

"Hmph..." The monkey's words made Leng Xin feel a toothache on his face, and the muscles on his face even twitched a few times.

However, soon, the disobedience on Leng Xin’s face disappeared. As an old man, Leng Xin didn’t want to lose his composure in front of his younger brother. If he was old man, he had to have the style of a big man!

"I didn't expect these sand tiger sharks to be so large. We did really miscalculate this time. I originally thought these sand tiger sharks would be the same size as the sand tiger sharks on the earth, but I didn't expect that the sand tiger sharks in the martial arts secret realm would be so large. This... this..., this is simply a combination of sand tiger sharks and whale sharks. We really shouldn't underestimate any creature living in the martial arts secret realm." When I said this, Leng Xin's face was full of helpless expressions.

Just now, the sand tiger sharks did not reveal their figures when approaching the fishing boat. These sand tiger sharks just exposed their dorsal fins on the sea surface, and their bodies were hidden under the sea water. In addition, the skin of these sand tiger sharks is oceanic. Once the sand tiger shark is hidden in the ocean, the protective color hides the huge size of the sand tiger shark.

The monkeys can judge that these sharks are sand tiger sharks, and rely on the special dorsal fins of the sand tiger sharks. Therefore, the number of fish baits prepared by the monkeys and Leng Xin is also calculated based on the volume of the sand tiger sharks on the earth. However, their careful preparation can be said to be a complete failure.

Leng Xin and Monkey really didn't expect that these sand tiger sharks would be so huge after they really showed their figures. Such a size is not to be as large as the shark whale shark on the earth. The sand tiger shark is as huge as the whale shark. When they think of this situation, Leng Xin and Monkey's faces were full of whale sharks.

Whale shark (scientific name: typus). Also known as whale shark, tofu shark, and big shark, belongs to the family Whale shark family, and is the largest shark in the world. So far, the largest size recorded by biologists is 21 meters long, and other larger individuals have not been confirmed.

The whale shark is the only member of the family Idae (Idae, known as S before 1984) and the genus Whale shark. Biologists believe that this shark appeared about 60 million years ago.

Whale sharks live in tropical and temperate waters, with a lifespan of 70 to 100 years. Although whale sharks have very wide mouths, they are actually filter feeders. They mainly prey on small animals and plants (including plankton), but the BBC's nature documentary "Planet Earth" once filmed a whale shark preyed on a group of small fish.

Biologists first identified whale sharks based on an individual captured in Table Bay, South Africa in April 1828. Cape Town British doctor Anzulu Smith (Anzuru Smith) further described the characteristics of the whale shark the following year. Then in 1849, more details about whale sharks were released.

The name "whale shark" comes from fish biology, which means that whale sharks are as large as whales, and they are filter feeders like many whales.

The whale shark body is extended and thick, with two prominent ridges on each side; the eyes are small and there is no instant membrane; the mouth is huge and the upper and lower collars have lip folds; the teeth are small and many, conical; the water spray hole is small and located behind the eye; 5 carp holes are wide; the gills are harsh and wide, divided into many branches, forming a filter port shape; the dorsal fin 2. The second dorsal fin is opposite to the arm fin; the pectoral fin is wide; the caudal fin is forked; the body is gray-brown or blue-brown, with many yellow spots and vertical transverse lines.

The body is cylindrical or slightly flattened; the body has obvious lateral augmentation; the head is flat and wide; the sneeze is short; the lateral position; the gill slit is extremely large. It has a unique filter structure, containing thin plates that cross each gill slit. There are many keratinous filters on the other gill arc, divided into many branches, and crossed into sponge-like filters. The oral cleft is extremely large, anterior position, transverse direction; the corners of the mouth have lip folds; there is no internode groove.

The whale shark may be the shark with the largest number of teeth. Its mouth is like a huge filter. There are thousands of tiny, hook-shaped teeth in its mouth, each about 2 to 3 mm long, arranged in 11 to 12 rows, arranged on the upper and lower jaws.

These teeth are replaced at least twice a year. If the whale shark's lifespan is equal to that of humans, it can be called the animal with the most teeth, but whether it has indeed used so many teeth is still a mystery.

Shark's teeth are regularly loosely embedded in the muscle fibers, which are equivalent to gums. During the process of new and old replacement, old teeth will continue to bleed and replaced by new teeth.

The upper and lower jaws of whale sharks have as many as 300 homotypic teeth, and the tiny teeth have only one small tip.

The existing whale shark teeth fossils were found in the Oligocene strata in South Carolina, the Miocene strata in Lancia and North Carolina, and the Miocene to Pliocene strata in Maryland and Virginia.

In 2001, the tooth fossils of whale sharks were also discovered in the sedimentary layer of Pungo 2001. The fossils belonged to the Miocene period. The fossils were very small, only 6 mm high, with a strong lower part of the sides of the teeth, and the crown on the upper part looked slim.

The tongue surface of the tooth crown is perpendicular to the base of the tooth root, the tip of the tooth is smooth and has a sawed edge, and the tip of the tooth extends back and lower. The tooth root is bifisted, the elongated tooth root side compresses, with obvious nutrient holes, and obvious enamel covers the upper part of the tooth root. The cftypus tooth fossil of the whale shark similar species is basically not much different from the existing whale shark tooth fossil.

Few marine creatures live like whale sharks. Even the megalodon sharks that dominate the early Miocene to the mid-Pleocene are not as long as whale sharks.

Since the Oligocene, whale sharks have been enduring the long-term threat of large rat sharks, other predatory sharks, sperm cetaceans and the later black cetaceans, and have to face competition like new baleen whales (heres) and other baleen whales. However, most of these sea monsters have been erased by time, and only whale sharks are still majestic.

The first dorsal fin of the whale shark is much larger than the second dorsal fin; the pectoral fin is extremely large and is slightly narrow sickle-shaped; the anal fin is the same as the second dorsal fin, and the base is also opposite; the caudal fin is fork-shaped. The upper tail fork is twice as long as the lower tail fork, and is composed of the upper leaf and the middle part of the lower leaf and the posterior part. The lower tail fork protrudes from the front part of the lower leaf. The body is gray-brown to blue-brown. Many white spots and transverse lines are scattered on the side of the body, and these stripes are arranged in a chessboard shape.

Whale sharks live in the middle and upper layers of warm oceanic sea areas. They are mild in nature and do not attack people. Whale sharks swim slowly and often float on the water to bask in the sun. They feed on plankton, crustaceans, molluscs and small fish, and have little appetite.

Scientists realize that whale sharks are not as slow-moving animals as people previously thought, and in fact they will quickly lean down and dive into deep water like eagles that swooped down from high altitude.

In the donsal area of the Philippine maid, it is a world-famous whale shark viewing area. From March to May every year, a large number of wild whale sharks can be seen by taking local crab boats.

In addition, the Beautiful Sea Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan has three adult whale sharks artificially farmed, known as the largest aquarium in Asia.

Whale sharks feed on plankton, giant algae, krill and small self-dreaming animals (such as small squid and vertebrates). Their teeth do not serve as foraging, but in fact they are not large in size. Instead, whale sharks suck in a sip of water, close their mouths, and then drain water from their gills. For a brief period between the closing of the mouth and the opening of the gill hood, plankton is trapped by the cortical icles arranged in the gills and throat.

This filter-like organ is a unique variant of the gill rake, which can prevent any object greater than 2 to 3 mm from passing through, and the liquid will be discharged. Any object blocked by the filter organ between the gill strips will be swallowed by the whale shark.

Whale sharks have been observed to be "coughing", presumably this is the way to clean up food accumulated in gill rakes.

Whale sharks gather in the reef areas of the Caribbean waters of Beris, prey on the eggs of giant Brazilian snappers, which appear between the full moon and the crescent moon in May, June and July.

Whale sharks are active filter feeding creatures that rely on their sense of smell to attack targets such as plankton or fish. Whale sharks do not need to swim forward when foraging, and they are often observed to swing up and down to suck sea water and drain it to get food.

This is the exact opposite of basking sharks, which are gentle filter feeders and do not suck in sea water. They rely on swimming to force sea water through their gills. The BBC's nature documentary Planet Earth once filmed a whale shark preying on small fish.

Although whale sharks have huge bodies, they will not cause major harm to humans. They are often used by scientists to educate the public, and not all sharks will "eat people".

In fact, whale sharks have a rather gentle personality and can also play with divers.

An unconfirmed report states that whale sharks will remain stationary and turn their bodies backwards to allow divers to clean up parasites in their abdomen.

Divers can swim with this huge fish without any danger, except being accidentally hit by the whale shark's huge tail fin.

Whale sharks have few natural enemies, and human fishing is one of the reasons for their decline. Whale sharks are one of the targets of the aquatic industry in several areas where seasonal gatherings.

Southeast Asia, especially the Baodao Bay area, is the main fishing area for whale sharks. The fished whale sharks mainly eat their flesh and sometimes cut off their fins to make shark fins. Although they are not fishing objects in other places, they will also be caught by mistake and are endangered species.

The Philippine maid banned all commercial hunting, trafficking, importing and exporting activities regarding whale sharks in 1998, while the A-Sanguo banned them in May 2001. Since 2003, the treasure island has limited the number of whale sharks to 80 per year. Since January 1, 2008, this type of commercial activities has begun to be completely banned.

In the red list of threatened species of the World Union for Conservation of Nature (Iucn), whale sharks belong to the vulnerable (UV) level and have entered the threshold of threatened (D). Chinese Wikipedia includes species that are at the vulnerable level of the iucn Red List, including cheetahs, white horse chickens, white-lipped deer, Sichuan golden monkeys, mandarin ducks, little swans, and great bustards. Most of these species are national first- or second-level protected animals. This shows that the survival status of whale sharks at the vulnerable level also needs protection from national administrative forces to avoid further deterioration of the threatened status of the species.

In addition, according to data from the Washington Convention (cetis) website, whale sharks are species listed in Appendix ii of the Convention, which stipulate that species listed in Appendix ii of the Convention need to control their international trade transactions to avoid affecting their existence.

The Chinese translation of the Washington Convention can be seen on the website of the National Forestry Administration, which does not stipulate that the State party has an obligation to control domestic trade of species listed in the Appendix. (To be continued)
