174 Zhan Qiongqi (Part 2)

Hearing the voices of other humans, Qiongqi glanced around and saw the madman running towards him. The madman had no sense of nervousness at all, and was still complacent about killing two white-eyed birds in one go - he defaulted to being able to become Yumin, a feathered citizen.

It was the white-eyed bird. He excitedly told Chen Jian the news without mentioning Bai Yao's contribution at all. This was also his usual style.

"It seems this guy is very difficult to deal with." Madman pointed at Qiongqi.

"Yes," Chen Jian lowered his voice, "Where is Bai Yao?"

The madman let out a sigh, and then realized that Bai Yao had disappeared a long time ago. He shrugged, while Chen Jian frowned angrily and asked, "What does the other white-eyed bird look like?"

The madman understood that Chen Jian was asking about the one that fell next to Bai Yao. He did not look carefully: "It's dead anyway, huddled up. All I know is that its eyes are white——"

Chen Jian pushed him away violently, and the two of them were blocked by Qiong Qi on both sides.

"You..." Qiongqi ignored Chen Jian and stared closely at the madman, "You have her breath."

The madman laughed wildly after hearing this: "That bird disguised as a human? She is already dead!"

Qiongqi froze. His soul had no support, and he trembled towards the irreversible aging. The world in front of him faded in an instant, like yellowing dead leaves falling from the trees... The noise around him was heartbreaking.

The sound of the lung-splitting fight disappeared, and he stood alone in the desolation. His extremely hard feathers became as weak as softening, and his withered eyes sunk into two abyss. Did he believe the madman's words - or did he not?

He didn't know it himself, but the other party's arrogant behavior and Yumin's aura, Yumin's aura of death, were so real and pungent that he just wanted to stand in front of Yumin seriously and hear one sentence -

She must have cowered under his gaze as always, and said with trepidation, "I did not betray the Bird Country." If only she had acted earlier, such an expectation could have been realized smoothly. Everything was so simple, but he messed up.

The almost paranoid desire shattered, and he felt extremely cold.

A call from afar.

He raised his head, his white pupils glowing red and cast his gaze towards the place where his mother was buried. The sharp pain hit his brain again.

die--

The alarm bell rang, and he felt that his existence suddenly disappeared, and there was an unfillable vacancy in his life.

"Ross, something doesn't look right about this guy!" The madman staggered to the ground and scrambled out of Qiongqi's breath. He stared, and his trembling legs were ready to bounce up at any time.

Chen Jian felt something strange about Qiongqi. Until just now, he had been full of confidence and arrogance, but now, this momentum was gone.

"Stay away!" Chen Jian urged the madman.

"You killed her." Qiongqi suddenly said, "Very good."

The two looked at each other in confusion, not understanding what the bird was expressing. He didn't seem to be a white-eyed bird that didn't understand how to express emotions in human language.

"That's enough." Qiongqi said to himself, his voice changing from human words to birdsong.

Yes, humans killed Yumin? Doesn’t that mean she didn’t betray the Bird Kingdom? Everything was arranged so cleverly.

The next moment? His feathers instantly spread out, covering the sky like a peacock spreading its tail? A blood-red dark shadow enveloped the madman? Only a mournful lament was heard humming from his throat, and countless sharp blades made of feathers stabbed one after another.

To the madman.

The madman's eyes widened. Fear caused his heart to stop. He forgot to escape. The scene in front of him coincided with the Battle of County Water.

He thought he might die here? Just like Huang Aimian? He died by coincidence.

Is it over? He asked himself, closing his eyes.

"Madman!" Chen Jian had no time to save the madman. Everything happened too suddenly. He just couldn't help but blink. What he saw was the madman with holes all over his body. The madman closed his eyes. He plopped first.

He fell to his knees with a sound, and then slowly fell back.

Qiongqi gasped and turned to Chen Jian.

Chen Jian moved before he turned around. This large-scale attack exposed his weaknesses. Without the cover of his feather armor? The weak parts of his body were exposed to Chen Jian's sight without warning, with tiny fluff.

The body is no different from the tiger he has seen on TV? Chen Jian had no time to care about the madman - he would live anyway - jumped up and stepped on Qiongqi's shoulder again, and the short yellowed dagger immediately pierced Qiongqi's shoulder.

neck.

His body was still very solid, but it was far less rigid than when he had feathers. Chen Jian supported Qiongqi's body with his legs, pressing the man's center of gravity on the dagger.

Suddenly a low roar came from underneath him.

Qiongqi reacted.

Didn't Chen Jian panic? Continue to work hard. Is this the only chance? Although I don't understand why Qiongqi, who is always vigilant, exposed such a big flaw? It is impossible to guess his mental journey, but this is not a question that Chen Jian needs to think about.

In his eyes, only one simple thing happened - Qiongqi was devastated by Yumin's death and used all his strength to destroy the madman.

In the end, the bird was nothing more than this. Chen Jian frowned, and the reaction force penetrated the arm holding the dagger. Blood slowly bloomed from the palm of his hand like a flower. Finally, his hand suddenly relaxed.

The dagger pierced Qiongqi's neck. At the same time, the back of Qiongqi's neck shook. Chen Jian was thrown out and hit the ground, breaking three teeth.

"...Human!" The pain radiated throughout his body like a volcanic eruption, causing Qiongqi to wake up immediately, but it seemed to be too late. The bad news of pain and blood loss poured out the power contained in his body, and his limbs were stuck on the ground.

The muscles of the forelimbs were the first to be defeated, and the tight curves quickly became extremely loose, drooping on the frame like the dry skin of a centenarian.

Chen Jian was a little unbelievable.

Is this the end?

He spit out the broken teeth that he accidentally swallowed into his mouth, panted heavily, and moved closer to Qiongqi.

Qiongqi wanted to stretch out his front palm and slap him flat. He did so, but as soon as he raised his left forelimb, his body suddenly collapsed.

"Qiongqi!"

A scream resounded through the sky, and the air waves set off by the Chongming Bird crashed into the entire towering mountains like a tsunami.

Chen Jian was deafened in both ears at the same time, and blood dripped down his cheek. The Chongming Bird was about to come, and the Ghost Che Bird seemed to have heard the movement here, and the flames in its mouth blocked the mountains.

"Ross... save me, it hurts... it hurts..." The madman's hand suddenly stretched out and grasped Chen Jian's arm tightly.

Chen Jian lowered his head in panic, and saw that the madman with holes all over his body was looking at him desperately.

"What happened to you? Why didn't you recover?" He didn't understand what happened.

"It hurts too much..."

The rosary beads hanging around the madman's neck were scattered all over the floor.

Suddenly, Chen Jian had the idea of helping the madman bear the pain.

This wrinkled, blood-soaked face is so pitiful.

Chen Jian grabbed his arm. He couldn't stay here for long. If the Gui Che Bird and Chong Ming Bird found out that Qiong Qi had died, they would definitely chase him like crazy. He didn't have the physical strength to fend off two white-eyed birds at the same time, especially with their strength.

It's all very tricky.

"Quick...help..."

"let's go!"

Chen Jian glanced at Qiongqi for the last time. His thick chest did not rise and fall, and his wings were eclipsed.

To be on the safe side, he pulled out his dagger and stabbed him in the heart.

Qiongqi fell down completely and opened his eyes, but couldn't see anything inside.

"Thank you, Rose." The madman leaning on his shoulder suddenly snorted.
