Chapter 1 The Town

Small town.

As long as you hear this word, you can feel the kind of small family spirit coming towards you. In the northern United States in the 1980s, you can see such small towns everywhere, without industry, not fertile land, and in remote areas, so except for local residents, there are almost no foreign populations that are so slow that they make people sleepy. In the morning, you go to a unit in the town to have a gangster life or open a tepid bar. Anyone who is a little young and angry will go to a nearby big city.

This kind of place is on the verge of forgetting government welfare all year round. Good things cannot be done, and even bad things are not your turn. To put it nicely, it is called quiet and pleasant. To put it really, it is called birds not shit;

To sum up, if the people in this town want some extra income... there is almost only one way to go.

That is to make up gimmicks and engage in tourism.

For example, the camps that Napoleon once stationed, Einstein's former residence, and so on, and then the stories that seem to be copycats were published in third-rate tabloids that could make headlines with money, to attract those idiots who have no culture, no money, but want to find a place to travel.

The Crystal Lake Tourism Area is one of the more conscientious tourist attractions.

At least, there is no gimmick like "Madam Curie once took a bath here" to attract tourists...but instead choose the scenery with real guns and live ammunition.

Yes, you heard it right, this crystal lake... is really beautiful. Although it is not as beautiful as those big lakes with names, it is enough to attract some people to camp and shoot cannons.

Therefore, in the mid-1980s, this place became a little famous attraction.

But as everyone thought, since we mentioned this lake, there would definitely be no good ending in this lake. So, on May 13, 1980, taking advantage of the sunny weather and tourists' appearance, people died here...

......

This life comes from a little boy who fell into the water. His name is... Jason Wohes.

Jason Wohes was just 16 years old that year, and he was a great age when he was young and had just started to fall in love. At this beautiful age, all the children took it as a matter of course to fall in love, watch videotapes, drink secretly, stay away at night, or go under the bed to flip through the marijuana hidden by their father...

This is basically the case for all the children in the town.

However, these wonderful childhood memories seem to be a little far away from our Jason.

He is a very dissatisfied child. He doesn't like to talk or play with people. Naturally, he has no friends. While other children are smiling, they are blowing the balloons used by their parents last night. When they are playing and playing by the lake, he always stands at the door of his house from afar and watches quietly.

Generally speaking, his eyes always show a strong yearning and a faint sadness.

Yes, his withdrawal does not come from his own personality, but because he is not accepted by others.

Because... he was born with a distorted and deformed face.

Because of this face, he was ridiculed and bullied, dared not go to school, dared not make friends, and even dared not expose this face.

He covered his face with a sack, and put two holes in his mouth, like a scarecrow. This...is Jason's childhood.

That day, on the 13th, Jason stood alone by the lake. No one knew what he was doing, and no one cared about it anyway.

Soon, a group of children of the same age discovered him...

What follows is like a satirical comedy designed.

The children began to laugh, push, and swear around Jason, and sprayed as many filthy words as they usually learned from their parents' bedroom doors on Jason's face as possible...

This is a very enjoyable thing for these children who are growing up.

However, Jason was still standing quietly. Over the years, he seemed to have become accustomed to all this... Well, even if he was not used to it, no one would pay attention to him.

However, this calm reaction was not what the innocent children wanted to see, so they became even more angry. Finally, a girl with good character and academic performance pulled off the sack on Jason's head.

"Haha-Look at its face!"

"I can spit out all the food I had yesterday morning, haha, if I don't believe it, I will spit it out for you now!"

The children laughed, and the laughter seemed to be like fishbones stuck in their throats... But, children were talking nonsense, especially when a group of children gathered together, so even if there were several parents not far away, they turned a blind eye to this scene.

After all, the person they laughed at was Jason, not the demented son of the mayor's family.

Jason panicked. To be honest, he liked that girl quite a bit, so he tried his best to cover his twisted face, cried, begging the girl to return the hood to him.

The girl might think that this condescending superior aura is a bit inconsistent with her usual image of a jasper in her family, so she said kindly: "Okay, then I'll give it back to you."

...Amidst laughter, the girl threw her head into the crystal lake behind her.

And Jason...

He also jumped in.

......

At that time, the surface of Crystal Lake was reflecting the rippling sunlight, and every rippling ray was shining like crystal... This is how the name of Crystal Lake came from.

In that gorgeous ripple, Jason grabbed the hood...

Then, he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

Then he began to flap, and began to rise and fall, and the lake water poured into his throat, which seemed not as delicious as he thought.

Yes, Jason can't swim.

The children around were stunned. They couldn't understand why Jason couldn't swim and had to jump into the lake to pick up the hood.

They were frightened and forgot to call for help... Maybe they called for help at that time, but no one heard it. Maybe someone heard it, but they didn't go to save him.

Anyway, Jason sank and sank to the bottom of the lake.

After that, there were less laughter and joy around Crystal Lake, because a little boy who could bring a low voice, Jason, died...

Is the story over?

Of course not. If it was just a simple fall into the water, then this "Crystal Lake Tourism Zone" would not have been closed.

That day, Jason's mother got off work and came back from town, and she found that her son was missing... Well, in fact, she soon discovered that her son was drowning, and she quickly figured out why he drowned and why, not being rescued.

No one would be surprised if an angry mother could do anything, even if... the mother killed all the children next to her at that time; the parents of the children who had not helped Jason nearby; the rescuers who fell into the water by the lake; and the people who were related to the death of her son... no one would think there was anything unreasonable.

That's it... under the avalanche, no snowflake is innocent.

However, this is not the end. It may be because of the painful setting that justice will always defeat evil. Finally, when Jason's mother was exhausted and wanted to kill the last person, she failed. The drowning rescuer cut off Jason's mother's throat with a backhand.

Well, this crazy mother who was killed so much because of her loss of her son was finally sanctioned...

This seems to be a very good ending.

But, just as everything is coming to an end... Jason, appears.

He was not dead, maybe he was dead, but because of some resentment, he climbed up from the bottom of Crystal Lake.

On a rainy night, he stared at his mother's body... and picked up the hatchet that cut off his mother's throat.

Since then, the Crystal Lake Tourist Area has been closed, and with its closure, a legend has spread like wildfire...

According to legend, around the Crystal Lake, there is a man holding a hatchet... who is killing someone!

Well, it's just killing people, there's no reason, it's just killing people...
