【110】Meditation

Everyone walked along a narrow mountain road towards the direction of the village.

Turning over the hill, my eyes suddenly became clear.

The land in the valley was extremely flat. At this time, autumn was approaching, the golden ears of wheat fields hanged, and a wave of wheat was swaying in the wind.

In the wheat field, six or seven farmers are harvesting grain. The houses at the far end are like green ponds, and bamboos and mulberry forests extend in front and behind the house.

On both sides of the road, the bamboo forest on the left and the wheat fields on the right.

Outside the bamboo forest and next to the ancient road, a square bamboo pavilion erected.

There is a stream with gurgling water next to the pavilion.

Next to the stream across the bank is a small hill bent with the water, with clear and elegant scenery.

Two big words "Su Lin" are written on the horizontal eyebrows, just like axe and a knife are carved.

The breeze comes, the bamboo leaves rustle, and the stream is gurgling, which makes people feel refreshed. The physical fatigue and mental dryness that were before disappeared in an instant, and the body and mind are both light.

What a beautiful mountain village.

Everyone took a deep breath and all relaxed.

Such a leisurely beautiful scenery in the fields makes people lazy and they really can't raise interest in fighting. It's hard to believe that there will be conspiracies and tricks in such an environment.

Sun Kun sat down in the bamboo pavilion, then fell on the chair, and laughed: "It's comfortable here. Yan Jingliu has found such a good place. No wonder he doesn't want to set foot in the world."

"Scholars." Feng Qingyan looked at Hengmei and said lightly: "Using bamboo forests as scholars shows everyone's mind."

"The second uncle is just a forest, how can we see people's mind?" Lu Yunming asked in surprise.

Feng Qingyan smiled, turned to look at Sun Kejian, and said, "There is a Confucian master here. If you have such a problem, why not ask for advice humbly?"

Lu Yunming quickly bowed deeply.

Sun Kejian smiled warmly, patted Lu Yunming's little head and replied: "What Confucians learn is to cultivate themselves, and then to manage the family, govern the country, and pacify the world. The former is the inner sage, and the latter is the outer king. To put it bluntly, the inner sage is to make Confucian students a gentleman. Zhu is a gentleman."

The little ones let out a "oh", but the pursuing eyes were still staring at Sun Kejian.

Sun Kejian continued: "Bamboo has seven virtues:

If the body is straight, it is better to bend than bend; this is called integrity.

Although there are bamboo joints, they do not stop; this is called striving for progress.

The outward and the inner hollow are as clear as a valley; this is called humility.

There are flowers that cannot bloom, and they face the sky with plain face; this is called simple.

Decent and independent, standing tall and earthly; this is called Ray.

Although it is called "联", it is not like pine; this is called "联利利".

The text is passed down from generation to generation, and it is hard to complain; this is called responsibility.

With these seven virtues, he is a 'gent'. This is also a portrayal of Yan Jingliu's lifelong life."

Everyone heard about it and admired it.

Lu Yunxuan shook her little head and said, "It seems that everyone in Yan is good. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to teach his apprentices. Not only is the Rulin Academy full of unhealthy trends, but even the apprentices he taught himself are a bastard."

"Yun Xuan." He Qingzhu scolded softly, "Don't be rude."

Lu Yunxuan tilted her head and muttered in a low voice, "It's all."

Sun Kejian sighed and said, "The Yan Jingliu I know is definitely not such a low-level person, but the reality is disappointing. I hope I can learn about it this time."

At this time, a melodious sound of flute came from behind Xiaogang.

Dingling, the cow's hooves were pedaling, and the bells were crisp. Everyone looked up and looked around. Xiaogang turned around and there was a little boy riding a cow. On the back of the wide buffalo, the little boy who looked about six years old was content to be content and was playing the simple and cheerful flute sound.

The big buffalo slowly walked to the pavilion, and the shepherd boy also put down the bamboo flute, looked at the strangers and said with a smile: "Dear guests, are you here to meet my Master Jingliu?"

His voice was clear and straightforward and his thinking was clear. The little shepherd boy actually had sensibility and maturity beyond his age.

Everyone couldn't help but feel very happy.

Sun Kun stepped forward and shouted, "Little boy, was Yan Jingliu asking you to pick us up?"

The little boy Zheng pointed his head and bowed deeply on the back of the cow, saying respectfully: "My younger brother Qin Muqing, hereby welcome him by Master Jingliu. Please follow me, senior brothers."

After saying that, he turned around and walked towards the direction he came.

Everyone followed closely behind. After passing Xiaogang, the mountain road was winding upwards, with ancient trees on both sides, prosperous and lush, and leisurely.

After turning a corner, a archway with moss peeling spots appeared in front of me, with thick and vigorous trunks and evergreen leaves.

The archway with the four big words "Calmness and Thoughts" is embossed, forming a beautiful picture.

At this point, everyone was in peace, putting aside all worries and worries.

Looking at the four big words "Calm and mind", everyone showed a look of enlightenment and admiration.

Sun Kejian took a long breath and said lightly: "This heart does not move, it moves randomly. The heart is like a mirror, responding with feelings, and everything cannot be shining."

This is the ultimate truth of Confucianism's mind--all people have thoughts and ambitions. In order not to make obsessions kidnap the body and mind, they must regard a heart as a mirror, clear and clear, and anything can be seen, and no trace will be left after they go.

This way people can handle any event clearly and in an orderly manner without being dragged down by desires and emotions.

Feng Qingyan smiled and said, "The most important person's intention is like a mirror, and he will not welcome him or her, and he will not hide him."

This is a famous saying of Taoist Zhuangzi, and it is also a famous saying that cleanses the body and mind.

Miaoxiu put his hands together and said, "The Tao must flow, how can it stagnate? If the mind does not dwell on the Dharma, the Tao will flow; if the mind is dwelling on the Dharma, it is called self-binding."

Miaoxiu responded to Buddhist Zen, and the same is true.

The three of them used the words of the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, and explained the meaning of the four words "calm and follow the thoughts", which was quite complementary.

After saying that, the three of them looked at each other and laughed happily.

After passing the archway, the road suddenly became clear. A pool of clear water was straight ahead. Small houses were hidden in the forest behind, and streams flowed slowly out of it.

Outside, under a towering locust tree, there is a small school hanging from the west. The tender sound of reading aloud came from the school.

"The way of university is to be clear about virtue, to be close to the people, and to stop at the ultimate good..."

An old man wearing a Confucian robe and a Confucian crown on his head holds a book of sages in his hand, reading the scriptures for all students.

From a distance, the old man was born with a very high-quality body, wide shoulders and narrow waist, and long and straight legs, which actually had the aura and demeanor to support him straight up to the clouds.

Everyone walked around the pond and walked towards the school.

Unexpectedly, there was no one coming out to stop him, and even less than half a figure was seen.

The path follows the stream. More than a dozen simple but spotless quiet rooms, leaning against the stream, scattered with the two sides of the stream, with orderly heights and orders, giving people a natural and comfortable feeling of coordination. The Xiaoping Bridge connects the two sides of the straits. The beauty of the environment is more relaxing than the gorgeous palace.

Before arriving at the school, the old man finally finished his explanation and slowly turned around.

At this moment, everyone finally saw Yan Jingliu, the famous Confucian master and the dean of the Confucian Academy.
