028. The monk who steals meat to eat

028, Monk who steals meat and eats it

Old Yang was intrigued and took a sip of wine and said, "Of course I have been there. My old mother also liked to burn incense and worship Buddha back then, and took me to temple fairs. I also ate the vegetarian vegetarian food in Chishan Temple once. It has a fried pumpkin flower, which is so delicious, it smells so fragrant... The pumpkin flower can taste meat, and now I feel drooling when I think about it!"

Ding Qi smiled and said, "Pumpkin flowers are very common in the countryside, and you can make them yourself when you go home."

Old Yang shook his head and said, "It's different, different. I was poor when I was a child, and I had no oil and water in my stomach. Everything I ate was delicious. It was fried with the fragrant oil in the temple, and there was so much oil... My grandfather told me when he was a child that the monks from Chishan Temple stole meat and ate it."

This is how drinking and chatting, one sentence after another. Ding Qihao said, "How do you steal meat? You always tell me."

Lao Yangtou: "There is a chamber pot under the monk's bed, and there is fragrance in the room. Cut the meat into small pieces and mix seasonings and put it in the chamber pot to cook. In the past, there was a thick wooden fragrance. Put it under the chamber pot and light it. Stew it in the middle of the night with low heat. The meat was stewed very hard, and it tastes delicious!"

Ding Qi: "The chamber pot is a pot for peeing at night?"

Old Yangtou: "Yes, I have a big belly with a handful of hand, no cover on the surface, only a large open mouth next to it, pottery. You young people have never seen it before."

Ding Qi: "Can that thing stew meat?"

Old Yangtou: "The monk is not a fool. The meat they used to stew are all new chamber pots that they have never used."

Ding Qi: "Have you always seen it with your own eyes, or have you eaten it together?"

Old Yangtou: "I have never seen it before. I heard from my grandfather. But the monks in Chishan Temple are really rich. They really could afford meat at that time. I heard that when the four old ones were broken, the Bodhisattvas in the temple were broken, and the silver dollars inside were squirming all over the ground. The Bodhisattvas all had Yuan Datou hidden in their belly!"

Ding Qi: "Have you seen this with your own eyes?"

Lao Yangtou: "I was in the countryside at that time and didn't see it. But I had a cousin studying in the city and also smashed the Red Guards of Chishan Temple. He saw it with his own eyes and told me later."

At Lao Yangtou, Ding Qi still did not find clues about Da Chi Mountain. Instead, he heard many legends about Chishan Temple. Another suspicious clue discovered by Ding Qi in ancient books has nothing to do with Da Chi Mountain, but is related to the place name "Jinghu".

In the Ming Dynasty, there was a famous scholar here. On an outing, he sighed that he was not satisfied with his talent, and secretly felt admiring the Tao. He wrote a travel note, in which he mentioned a story of a god circulating in the local area.

The general idea is as follows: On a certain year, a certain month and a certain day, a Taoist obtained the immortal talisman and guided him to seek the immortal trace. He went to the south of the city to find the holy land, the name Xiaojing Lake, with beautiful scenery. The water flowed in the mountains like the word "zhi", and the three lakes overlapped with each other. At the lowest point, the valley and the lake swayed for ten miles, and the scenery was particularly beautiful. The Taoist got the immortal bait in the forest by the lake, and took it and rushed away.

The so-called "chongju" refers to ascending to become an immortal. This is the story of another Taoist who was recorded by an ancient scholar and a more ancient era.

There are many absurd stories written by scholars in ancient China. On the other hand, they follow the principle of "the son does not speak strange powers and confusing spirits", which seems somewhat contradictory. In the eyes of psychologists like Ding Qi, such stories are either metaphors of some life ambitions or are depressed and unsuccessful fantasies.

As Jia Mu in "Dream of Red Mansions" said: "The left is just a beautiful man and a talented man, the most boring. He speaks all from a scholarly family. His father is not a minister or a prime minister. He must be a love like a treasure for a lady. This lady must be a notification ceremony, and he is a peerless beauty. As soon as he sees a handsome man, he thinks of a lifelong event..."

The arrangement of talented men and beautiful women is more often the arrangement of gods, ghosts and foxes. For example, a scholar who rushes to stay or reads at a house at night will have beautiful vixen to hook up. Not only will he send family business and money, but he can even bring equally beautiful vixen sisters to pay for it... In short, it is this kind of story. If you talk about it, no one will really take it seriously.

Ding Qi didn't take it seriously at first, but he has been paying attention to the place names of ancient books recently and is almost a little nervous. "Da Chi Mountain" has not been found yet, but he actually saw "Xiaojing Lake" in ancient books.

Jinghu City is named after Jinghu Lake. This lake exists in reality and is now in the heart of the city. If Jinghu City is regarded as Hangzhou City, then Jinghu Lake is equivalent to West Lake. The area of Jinghu Lake is less than one-tenth of that of West Lake, but it is not small anymore. It is also a rare and beautiful scenery to have such a pool of clear water in the heart of the city.

Now, Jinghu Park has been built around Jinghu, which is also a good place for citizens to relax and enjoy. You can walk around the lake and boat boats. When Ding Qi and Jiajia were in love, they ran to Jinghu to row the couple's boat. However, the ancient books mentioned the place name "Xiaojinghu", and pointed out that the location was "thirty miles to the south city".

More importantly, the travel notation of the famous scholar not only mentioned the "fairy bait", but also described it: "It looks like a giant lucidum, with a height of more than a foot, with fleshy texture, white color, and branches as if they were both arms. It appears in the morning and night, and the moon shines with sound, like a child crying."

This description is similar to the alien creature Ding Qi saw in Tian Qi's spiritual world. If no one had seen it with his own eyes, it would not have been described as so detailed.

Jinghu City was very small in the Ming Dynasty, but it was just a town under the jurisdiction of Wanling Prefecture. In the Qing Dynasty, it gradually developed into an important trading port on the bank of the Yangtze River, becoming increasingly prosperous and becoming the new prefecture. Ding Qi found a map of the Ming Dynasty and compared with the current Jinghu City map, it drew about fifteen kilometers south from the ancient town, but the place had not yet left the city.

Five hundred years have passed, and the current Jinghu city has been many times larger in the Ming Dynasty. The Jinghu city extends to the north and is blocked by the Yangtze River. After the Yangtze River Bridge is built in the past decade, the Jiangbei New District was developed. The south is developed earlier. The area is now Yuling District and is still being built.

Ding Qi took the time to drive his second-hand passat and walked around the streets and alleys of Yuling District, like a spy who was scouting the site, and also searched for various parks and communities. He did not even spare the construction site under construction, but he could not find the shadow of the "Xiaojing Lake" described in the historical sites.

What the ancients saw is hard to verify now, but Tian Qi and Tu Zhi are modern people. They have both been to such a place. They did not see that kind of strange creatures in Tu Zhi's spiritual world, but Tian Qi's spiritual world has it. Ding Qi even suspected that the so-called "Xiaojing Lake" and "Da Chishan" are the same place, but the place names in the Tang and Ming dynasties were different.

But no matter how he speculated and analyzed it, he still couldn't find the clue. Tu Zhi there couldn't get the answer, and Tian Qi might know some clues, but unfortunately Tian Qi had been killed by him. He spent money, time and energy, but in the end he got nothing. Ding Qi had to temporarily rest. It's not that he didn't want to find it, but that he didn't know how to find it, so he should work hard.

"Mr. Lu, you look very haggard. You don't look like you have a good rest. I can help you?" This was half a month after drinking and chatting with Lao Yangtou, Ding Qi received a helper.

The lady is named Lu Fang. She is 54 years old. She is dressed well and maintained very well. She works as the deputy general manager of a large state-owned enterprise and is also a leading cadre. She will retire in another year. The leaders of state-owned enterprises come to find psychologists, which is probably more taboo and afraid of people's discussion. However, when Ding Qi comes to visit, she is not very noticeable, and she also gets a confidential promise when calling to register for an appointment.

Ding Qi's fees are not cheap, and medical insurance cannot be reimbursed. Lu Fang registered an appointment and called him. It seems that something is indeed wrong, and the problem may be serious.

Lu Fang replied: "I know Mr. Ye from your hospital. It was a friend of his who recommended you Dr. Ding, and I have heard of Dr. Ding's name before."

Ding Qi: "It turned out to be recommended by Mr. Ye's friend. What problems do you need to solve? I mean psychological problems."

Lu Fang: "Actually, it's nothing big. I've had a sick recently and I always feel my nerves are weak. I often have the same dream at night and have a very bad rest. I heard that Dr. Ding is very good at treating insomnia, so I'll try it out for you."

Ding Qi smiled gently and said, "Just based on your statement, you are not insomnia, but a problem with your sleep quality. Can you tell me the content of your dream in detail?"

Lu Fang: "There is nothing to say. I walked to a place with woods around me, and things like villains could be seen coming out, yelling, and the environment was a bit scary."

Ding Qi was slightly stunned and immediately asked: "Can you describe that place in detail? Is there any familiar place in reality and is it a bit similar to where?"

Lu Fang thought, saying, "At the beginning, it looked a bit like Xiao Chishan Park. Dr. Ding knew Xiao Chishan Park, which was on the edge of Jinghu City. But it was hard to describe it when walking in. The trees grew very tall and very big, the light was a little dark, and it felt a little gloomy."

Ding Qi: "Did you just have this dream recently, or have you had a similar dream before?"

"It's been more than a month since I started having this dream." Lu Fang's tone paused when she said this, "It seems that's not the case. After hearing Dr. Ding's reminder, I remember that I had a similar dream a long time ago, but I can't remember it."

This kind of trance memory obtained through induced is actually hard to say that it is real. Ding Qi did not ask any further and changed the topic: "Have you been to Xiaochishan Park recently?"

Lu Fang: "Yes, I've been there recently. I've been sitting there for a while. It was dark when I left. Maybe I caught a cold, got sick when I got home, and then I started to have that dream often."

Ding Qi tried his best to relax his expression, appearing serious but not so serious, and asked again: "Mr. Lu, can you tell me why I went to Xiaochishan Park alone and stayed until dark?"

Lu Fang: "How did Dr. Ding know that I went there alone?"

Ding Qi: "Oh, I just asked this, didn't you go alone?"

Lu Fang: "I did go there alone. I originally wanted to find a friend, but I didn't find it..."

Lu Fang is in a bad mood recently. The senior leader recently talked to her and told her tactfully that she would gradually fade out of the front-line business from now on so that the new leaders promoted later could become familiar with and take over the work, which made her feel very disappointed.

Many of her old colleagues have retired now, and some have persuaded her to rest and enjoy her retirement life. But both in terms of physical and mentality, she thinks she is still very young! Last year, she also signed up for and completed the half marathon. The certificate is now hanging on the office wall, and everyone who sees them praises them.

An old sister who has retired said that if you dance square dance in Xiaochishan Park today, your life is very happy. That afternoon, Lu Fang went out to do business. After finishing the work, he happened to pass by the entrance of Xiaochishan Park and heard music coming from inside.

There were many people dancing square dance in the park. Not only were old men and women, but many of them looked quite young. Lu Fang remembered his old sister, so she walked in to see if she was there.

There are several groups of square dances in Xiaochishan Park, occupying several flat areas across the hills. Lu Fang walked for a long time but didn't see the old sister. She happened to be at the foot of a mountain bag. Maybe she was moved by the scene and thought of what happened when she was a child. When she was a child, there was a temple called Chishan Temple. The entire mountain bag was in the area of Chishan Temple, and the main hall was built on the top of the mountain.

Chishan Temple was demolished in 1974. Now, the remaining stones and carved pillars can be seen among the grass and trees on this hill. There is a stone stairs at the foot of the mountain that can be walked on, and there is a pavilion on the top of the mountain. The flat ground where the pavilion is located is actually the foundation of the hall back then, and now it is a landscape in the park.

Lu Fang was already ten years old when Chishan Temple was demolished. She still remembered that she came to this temple to play when she was a child. She climbed the hills and recalled the past, but she was gone without realizing it. When she came to her senses, she found that it was dark and she had been sitting in the pavilion for so long. The wind was very cold at night, so she wrapped her coat and hurried home.

Her husband and son both asked her where she had gone, and she didn't even go home for dinner and didn't say hello, and the phone could not be reached. Lu Fang only said that she passed by Xiaochishan Park to find an old friend who was dancing square dance. After searching for her, she turned out so late. I guess the signal in the park was not very good.

Maybe she caught a cold in the park. Later, she had a cold and fever. She went to the hospital for more than a week to get rid of the drip. When the disease was almost cured, one night she had a dream and went to a very strange place. The scenery was a bit like Xiao Chishan Park, but walking along a stream, surrounded by towering trees...

The dream should be a scene after dusk or darkness. Anyway, the light was very dark, and she also saw a human-shaped thing coming out of the ground, making a baby-squeaking sound... When she woke up and recalled the scene of the dream, she felt cold and her scalp numb. The more she thought about it, the more she became uneasy.

It doesn't matter if she had a dream. A few days later, she had another dream. The dream was still the same place. After waking up, she felt a little afraid to sleep and became more and more tired. When her husband heard about this, he said that she was nervous, but seeing that she really couldn't sleep well for many days, she suggested that she go to Yuejiang Temple to burn incense and invite a monk with cultivation to take a look.

Yuejiang Temple, opposite the river, was built thirty years ago. There was no such temple in Jinghu history. Chishan Temple was demolished in 1974. After the reform and opening up, the Buddhist Association also wanted to rebuild it, but that area had been built into a citizen park, so it was not approved. The construction of Xiaochishan Park could not be completed. A group of good men and women donated money to build a temple in Jiangbei, and the name was changed to Yuejiang Temple.

Legend has it that when Tian Xianglong went to the temple to burn incense and met an old monk blocking the road to look at his eyes, it was said that it happened in Yuejiang Temple. Yuejiang Temple was very small at first, but later it was continuously fundraising and expansion, and now it is a large temple. It is said that Tian Xianglong has donated a lot of money to Yuejiang Temple in recent years.

When talking about her husband's suggestion, Lu Fang deliberately emphasized: "Doctor Ding, I am a party member and cadre. I firmly believe in Marxism-Leninism and materialism, and I don't believe in burning incense and worshiping Buddha at all. But my husband insisted that I let me go and see it, and said that it was introduced by an acquaintance. The monks there not only believed in Buddhism, but also might understand medical skills. My son also advised them. I went there to make them feel at ease."

Ding Qi took a few deep breaths and adjusted his mentality. He reminded himself that he was a psychologist at this moment. The first thing he had to solve was not his confusion, but his psychological problems. He nodded with a smile and said, "Yes, I can understand. What's the effect after you go to Yuejiang Temple?"

Lu Fang: "If it really works, will you still use it to find you? My husband's friend introduced me to a monk. The monk heard that I couldn't sleep well, so he gave me a pair of medicine, saying it could help me sleep. But after I got home, I had that dream that night, so how could I continue to take that medicine!"

Ding Qi temporarily suppressed himself and wanted to ask questions. He looked gentle but also solemnly: "Mr. Lu, the problem you mentioned by yourself is insomnia. The symptoms you said to the monks in Yuejiang Temple are also not that you can't sleep well. But your actual symptoms are just the opposite. It is not that you can't sleep, but that you don't want to sleep, and worry about having such a dream. The real problem is emotional anxiety."

Lu Fang nodded and said, "Doctor Ding, you are right! I thought about it carefully. It is not that I can't sleep, but that I don't want to sleep, so I slept very late every day. In the end, I was extremely sleepy, so of course I couldn't rest well."

Ding Qi: "Although I don't know what medicine the monks in Yuejiang Temple gave you, if it is a medicine to help you sleep, it is actually not the right one, so it cannot solve your problem. I need to be clear now, how many times have you had such a dream in the past month?"

Lu Fang: "I said it all three times in total. The first time was a month ago, the second time was three days apart, and the third time was the night when I came back from Yuejiang Temple, and the day before yesterday."

Ding Qi smiled: "It is also said that before the last dream, you haven't had that dream for almost a month, but you still have a bad rest, or you don't want to sleep every night, right?"
