The beautiful appearance of this railway station really shines the eyes of a group of people in the same brick and tile houses on the east coast, so that Tang Yuan, a commissioner of the Wujiang Regional Administrative Office, once boasted: "This is the third largest 'miracle' building in the country after the People's Theater of Ji Capital and the Expo Hall in Qingdao County."

Although Tangyuan's words are a bit exaggerated - because the relief groups outside the railway station are still being carved - it is undeniable that this railway station, which integrates the essence of East and West architectural culture, is undoubtedly the best building on the East Coast in terms of practicality and aesthetic ornamentality (murals, reliefs, sculptures).

In addition to using a large amount of stone, the building also uses many cast iron, wax iron and cement materials, which makes the entire building solidity reach a new level. With the East Coast Building Materials Company (after multiple capital increase and share expansion, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce currently holds about 60%, the East Coast Company holds 20%, the Ministry of Transport holds 10%, and the other 10% of the shares are entrusted by the Institute of Natural Sciences. In a new cement kiln built in Daxing Port in this time, the Daxing Branch of the Building Materials Company adopted a new technology developed by the Institute of Natural Sciences over the years. That is, they used a new process when producing cement: calcining the cement at 1400-1500 degrees Celsius to sinter the mixed materials, and then grinding the sintered clinker into fine powder. This is the new cement.

In addition, after years of continuous experiments and thinking, the East Coast technicians have also invented a new kiln body design - they dry the cement mixture slurry in a horizontal chamber, and the gas that drys them is the kiln top exhaust gas originally released into the atmosphere. This high-heat exhaust gas is guided to this chamber by the pipe, and then goes to the chimney and is discharged into the atmosphere. In this way, the furnace material entering this chamber by the grinder is dried by the waste heat generated when the previous batch of furnace material is calcined, greatly saving fuel consumption and improving production efficiency.

This production method is also the inspiration obtained by the technicians of the Natural Science Institute from the design principle of brick and tile wheel kilns. They have been applying for funds to conduct experiments since 1640 to eliminate various technical difficulties, which took a long time to find a high-temperature-resistant lining. Fortunately, they finally solved most of the technical difficulties the year before yesterday and obtained acceptance from the building materials company, and officially entered the promotion stage - the building materials company gave this new technology an image name: tunnel cement kiln. The patented technology of this cement kiln is shared by the investor's building materials company and the researcher's natural science research institute.

The building materials company once tested the cement produced using this new technology. After two tests of screen (testing the degree of cement powder grinding) and strength, it was found that this new cement completely surpassed the old cement produced in the East Coast. In particular, they conducted a certain cement tensile test. The sample strength of the new cement after seven days was 162 kg, exceeding the minimum acceptance standard of 150 kg, and the test was a complete success.

The emergence of this new cement is undoubtedly a blessing for the East Coast Republic, which is now carrying out "modernization construction" everywhere, because it means that the solidity of many facilities has been greatly enhanced, while the costs have been steadily reduced. How can this not be delighted?

The first batch of new settlements around Daxing Port were the first to enjoy the new cement achievements, which were also the last batch of new settlements of this year. Almost all the residents came from Shandong and Jiangbei. They were Yidu Township, located near the village of Chapique in later generations, Fu'an Township near the village of Laureles, and Jiugang Township, located near the town of Constitución.

Each of these three newly built settlements has only one or two thousand people. The land consolidation work has just been completed. The shrubs and weeds on the ground have just been burned. However, there is no doubt that there are still a large number of tree roots and grass seeds buried under these seemingly fertile lands. After spring, they will compete fiercely with the wheat seeds planted by the settlers, which will inevitably make the yield of these first-year "breeding lands" to a pitifully low - perhaps only a few dozen kilograms per acre, and there are also a large amount of deflated valleys.

However, in general, this is not a big problem. Under the coordination of the General Administration of Development of the State, which is responsible for pioneering, Jingjiang County, Yong'an County and even Daxing Port, which have abundant grains in Wujiang area, can continuously provide a large amount of grain nearby for pioneers to eat. If it really doesn't work, you can also go to the Mall Port area further south to transport, which is very convenient.

In addition to reclamation, local residents mainly focus on the construction of farmland water conservancy, reservoirs, urban buildings, water supply facilities and sewage pipelines. In particular, centralized water supply and urban sewage facilities are key projects that the Ministry of Health is going to accept, and they cannot tolerate any carelessness. In this regard, people on the east coast have learned a bitter lesson, because the urban sewage system is backward and many residents have bad hygiene habits, which greatly increases the incidence of the disease. On the east coast, where there is a shortage of doctors and medicines, the consequence of a vicious epidemic is often the death of hundreds or thousands of people, which is a consequence that no one can bear.

Haven't you seen that the British North American colonies often suffer from diseases? A settlement has only a few hundred people. As a result, because of poor sanitation awareness and backward sanitation facilities (people and animals drown in residential areas, water sources are too close, and there is no dedicated person to deal with these excrement that may be full of bacteria). Often, an epidemic can cause the entire colonial settlement to fall into a catastrophe - this is a common occurrence in the early North American colonial history. Therefore, on the east coast, no one dares not pay attention to the construction of sanitation facilities in the settlement.

According to professionals, the urban sewage and water supply systems of these four settlements, including Daxing Port, require a total of about 6,000 tons of cement, which is even more amazing. It may require tens of millions of yuan, which is almost a quarter of the annual output of the brick kiln factory of the Daxing Branch of the Building Materials Company, and the consumption is amazing.

However, no matter how much consumption is, it is necessary to build a brick kiln factory, lime factory and cement factory here. Isn’t this just for this? Well, maybe some of the building materials are used for railway construction. At present, the 46-kilometer railway section from Daxinggang to Fu'an Township, the fourth phase of the Northwest Railway Project has been completed. The construction personnel are continuing to build railways from Fu'an Township to the east. But this is not the main purpose. The most used is the urban construction of several settlements and the Daxinggang Wharf, a big hole that swallows up building materials.
