7. The Price of Salvation(2/2)

Muradin's eyes suddenly opened wide. He took a step back and said in a deep voice:

"We must stay away from this place, Lord Elune. You are not a mature Titan yet. If those real Titans cannot resist the sound of corruption, then you should not take risks."

Faced with Muradin's worries, Elune did not answer, because unlike the distortions Muradin heard, in the perception of the world spirit, in the temple in front of him, in addition to the whispers that induce corruption, there are also wisps of

Information that only the spirits of the dead can perceive.

"Go back, go back."

It seemed as if there was an old voice discouraging the young world spirit from moving forward. Elune felt that the voice was familiar, so she asked:

"Are you Lord Aman'Thul? Or Lord Norgannon? Who are you? Please tell me!"

"Go back."

"Elune, you have gone too far."

The voice did not directly answer Elune's question, he just advised:

"Argus the Unkiller is more than a warrior of the Black Pantheon."

"He is still our jailor. He is a monster created by Sargeras himself. He is not Aggramar."

"He won't show mercy to you, go back."

After hearing this persuasion, Elune became more and more certain that the voice in front of her was one of the Titan souls captured by the demon. She shouted loudly in the Titan's will:

"Please hold on! My warriors, I am calling them to come to this world! You, you will be free soon, and we will try to rebuild the Pantheon! I will save you! Please hold on!"

At this moment, Elune felt like a wanderer who had seen her relatives. Although she had never met them in person, she felt an instinctive closeness to these Titans of the Pantheon.

However, after hearing Elune's cry, the tired and deep voice fell silent. After a few seconds, he spoke:

"No, we refuse!"

"Why?"

Elune asked in disbelief:

"Your rebirth is the hope to defeat Sargeras and end this dark age? Why do you refuse?"

"Because you still don't understand the price of salvation."

The voice seemed too tired. He could not talk too much to Elune. He ended Elune's persistent questioning with one sentence:

"We can't revive, the price is too heavy, it's yours"
