22. Uldaman's Titan creations
Three things the dwarves do best: forging, drinking and excavation.
Of course, their combat effectiveness is also very strong, but considering that the number of dwarves is at an absolute disadvantage compared to humans, in this era, dwarves are more accustomed to solving problems through negotiations rather than using weapons easily. The orcs' rampage in Kazmodan has caused the Iron Fortress to suffer heavy costs. Like the human kingdom, dwarves are also resting.
However, as a species of immortality, the reproduction speed of dwarves is far less than that of humans. It may take a hundred years to calculate the number they had completely recovered to before the Orc War.
Fortunately, peace has finally come, and the dwarves can also escape from the bloody battles and do some things they like to do, such as...digging!
The speed at which the dwarves dig underground is incomparable to that of the most skilled miners of human beings. They can dig holes that humans need a week to dig in a day. Of course, this is also because of the special physical structure of the dwarves, which allows them to adapt to long-term hard work and stay in the dim underground for a long time.
So in many jokes about dwarves, the word "earth rat" often appears, although dwarves don't like this title.
Brian Bronzebeard set out from Iron Fortress and came to the Odaman excavation site in the barren land. It took a day to go. When he arrived, the dwarf archaeologist who was in charge of the excavation had already cleared the road to the three secret rooms in a tunnel like a spider web.
"Well, you have done a very good job and are worthy of being an elite member of the Explorer Association."
Old Brian was walking in the dim underground tunnel with a horse lantern, and 20 dwarf royal guards were protecting him. These dwarves who were dedicated to fighting were wearing fully armed armor, holding warhammers and shields, and behind each person, carrying muskets and heavy weapons. On the battlefield, these 20 royal guards could easily resist 50 humans, or the same number of orcs.
Don't underestimate the muscle lumps of these short men. Their strength is no less than that of orcs.
"We hollowed out the mountain that resided in the middle overnight. I have to say that we did ignore a lot of things."
The dwarf following Brian kept chattering:
"In the closest place to the tunnel we dug, the soil layer is less than 3 yards away from the secret room, but we just didn't find it...Bryan, speaking of it, how did you find these three secret rooms? Did you find any clues?"
The dwarf archaeologist said with excitement:
"We found many strange runes outside the secret room, which we have never seen before. Even the history books left by those pointed ears are not available. In other words, they were at least buried before the ancient elves empire appeared! At least 30,000 years ago, this is simply incredible. We will be recorded in history because of this great discovery."
Another archaeologist was even more exaggerated, and he shouted:
"The cultural relics we discovered before are like dust and sun compared to these three secret rooms. Brian, you are simply amazing! Some bastards wanted to dismiss you before. When we reveal this discovery, let's see who dares to underestimate you!"
These praises made the old dwarf's face hot, but he couldn't see it in the dim cave. He could only answer vaguely:
"I saw it in a book, it is said to be a book from Karazan, you know? It is the mage tower of the guardian of human beings, the one that was destroyed a few months ago, it is said that it is now filled with dark energy, and the dead are resurrected and guarded there, and no one can approach it. I guess the book was brought out and then fell into my hands."
"Hmph, human!"
The dwarf following Brian said disdainfully: "They know nothing about archaeology. They need to learn from us in this regard. But speaking of this, the human apprentice you accepted, the human boy named Jones, is not bad. His skills in handling those cultural relics in Iron Fortress recently have been praised by many seniors."
"That's certainly, Jones will definitely do something big in the future."
Brian patted his chest and said with great confidence:
"He is the child I taught step by step, so I won't talk about this anymore... I will take people to the largest secret room first. You two will deal with the other two secret rooms separately. Be careful when opening it. The value of these cultural relics cannot be measured at all."
"We know, Brian, be careful, that big secret room is at the deepest point."
Archaeologists handed over two things, which were a quaint staff and a dim gem:
"This is the "key" we found after searching the entire excavation site. It's strange that we have been thinking about how to open the dark grid, but we didn't expect that this thing was actually in this way."
"We haven't found that the icon placed on the ground is actually the topographic map of the entire ruins... We have been looking for the right path, but unfortunately the right path is at our feet, but it has been ignored."
Brian shrugged:
"But it's not too late yet, let's stop wasting time."
After saying that, the old dwarf took his guards and a group of skilled workers into the road to the deepest part of the ruins. On the way to the closed room, Brian's bronze beard suddenly felt a little palpitations. He could not help but look back at the darkness of the mine tunnel, as if in the darkness, some strange creatures were watching him.
As we get closer and closer to the deep secret room, the feeling of being peeped becomes more and more obvious.
"Well, maybe I shouldn't have opened it."
After combining the gems and staff, Brian stood in front of the miniature underground palace at his feet, and he was hesitant:
"It feels a bit bad, I always feel like I'll cause some trouble by opening it..."
The old dwarf hesitated for 3 seconds, then decisively inserted the staff into the center of the underground map. The next second, a blue light extended down along the crystal at the top of the staff, like a blue tide flowing through the map, quickly covering the entire underground palace miniature map. The blue light tide made Brian take several steps back, and then he heard a huge noise.
Brian and the guards behind him raised their heads together, and saw the door of the dark room in front of him slowly opening. The dust accumulated over tens of thousands of years splashed everywhere, slowly falling from the top of the hole-opened door like a waterfall. After that dark room, there was a moving darkness. With the vibration of the ground, a stone statue giant more than 7 meters high slowly walked out of the dark room.
It was a female sculpture, which looked like an enlarged version of a human, but the carvings on her body looked so vivid. She was wearing a yellow robe outside the stone body, and in her hand, she was holding a stone warhammer.
The aggressive giant shook his head, and his eyes shining with chaotic light soon fell on the dwarves in front of him who looked up at her in amazement.
"The earth spirit...no, the infected person of the flesh and blood curse!"
The giant female was a little confused at first, but after seeing the flesh-and-blooded dwarf, she was furious, waved the huge warhammer in her hand and smashed it at the dwarf in front of her.
"The remnants of the ancient gods! Don't want to blaspheme the sacred creation of the Titans! Don't want to disturb Azadas!"
"Bang"
The huge, heavy stone hammer fell from the sky and thrust hard into the center of the dwarves. However, the dwarf royal guard with skilled combat skills was not afraid, because from the power and perspective of the blow, the strength of the female giant in front of him was not as shocking as her body size.
The female giant herself also discovered this problem. She looked at her hands in panic and screamed:
"No! Where has my power, the divine gift, gone?"
"It's you! You snatched the power given by the Titans, you should die!"
"Clang"
Another fierce, unreasonable giant hammer swept across the board. A dwarf warrior who could not dodge was directly hit on the wall, but was only seriously injured.
Brian, a dwarf who was not good at fighting, couldn't help. While the royal guards were fighting with the weak female giant, Brian glanced at the thick, white, rune-carved stone door behind the dark room. He gritted his teeth, grabbed his archaeological tools and rushed towards the door.
"Huh, Huh, it's really hanging."
Brian rushed into the stone gate, which looked like another road leading to the ground. In this temple-like hall, there were statues cast of soil everywhere, most of which were heavy and solid obsidian statues responsible for the battle, but around the cold stone statues, Brian also found some vivid dwarf statues.
This made sweat oozing his forehead.
It was not because of fear, but because he had touched a trace of truth. He was sure that the dwarves had never been here, so the stone statues of dwarves placed here represent the memory that was collectively forgotten by the dwarves, belonging to the history of the dwarves, and even their mission.
"Fordman, you bad guy...you're right."
Brian moved forward all the way, and at the moment when he was about to discover the real secret, no matter the darkness that spreads before his eyes or the increasingly ominous premonition in his heart, he could no longer stop Brian from running forward.
"Our secrets, our mission, are all here! They are all here!"
Brian ran through three stairs at a speed of rushing and finally reached the ground. In front of him was another closed door, and this door did not look like the door of the female giant before. This thing did not shine with magic patterns, and there was a strange altar in front of the door.
The old dwarf walked forward and pushed the door hard, but found that the door blocking the road was almost motionless. He glanced at the altar at hand again, then took out a knife from his pocket and placed it on his fingertips.
"I always feel that if I open this door, it will cause a lot of trouble..."
Brian told himself this, but the next moment, the knife in his hand cut his finger, and as the dwarf's most orthodox royal blood dripped into the altar bit by bit, a dark force rolled out from the ground, slowly pushing open the door that had been buried in front of him for tens of thousands of years.

On the other side, the other two dwarf archaeologists who followed Brian's bronze beard into the excavation site also came to the front of the two smaller secret rooms. The door of the secret room was pure black and did not look like a place where treasures were stored, but like a cage where some prisoners were imprisoned.
"Open it!"
The archaeologists of the dwarves were all bold. After his order, some dwarves brought small pieces of gunpowder. The black door was blown to pieces by the roar and the shaking of the cave. But when the first dwarves walked into the secret room, they saw not those gorgeous and great sculptures of cultural relics. On the contrary, in the dark darkness of the secret room, what shone was dense, blood-red, full of violence and madness...eyes.
"Ahhhhhh!"
The terrifying screams, accompanied by the sound of bone rupture being bombarded by heavy objects, resounded throughout the dim excavation site. The dwarves opened the door that should not have been opened, and they personally released prisoners who should not have been released...
There is no doubt that they will pay for it. From now on, Kazmodan will no longer be the peaceful and beautiful hometown of dwarves and dwarves. The darkness released by them will take a little bit of what they have, and ultimately bring fear and war into their lives, and then completely disrupt everything.
This is the "good intention" given by the cold death crawling in the abyss, and it is not so easy to accept!
