Soul Catcher---For All Brothers【14/20】

What kind of attitude does a life exist after death?

Is it a simple soul, or a thought that is separated from the spirit and flesh? Or is it a more advanced form of existence that cannot be perceived by life?

No one can answer this question, because no one can return intact from death.

But in the magic world, mages have a unique way to observe the concept of death. They will use various magic circles to bind their souls, or simply use necromancer magic to recall the incomplete consciousness from the realm of death. Some bold people who like adventure will try to send their minds into this mysterious world of the dead... Of course, those who dare to try the last method often will not have a good ending.

Whether the realm of death is attached to the exit of a certain world or the boundary of the realm of death, ordinary souls will not be allowed to enter and exit at will.

So even in the mysterious magical world, death is still an extremely mysterious concept...

"clang"

Kasanathir's fingers gently tapped the outer layer of the soul crystal, and the crystal shining with purple light made a crisp echo. It put the crystal in front of its eyes. In the sunlight, the soul crystal emitted a brilliant light.

Behind him, Varimasas rushed out of the underground hall. The terrifying demon king's claws were surrounded by wailing souls. Those were ghosts that had been pulled out of his body, but the soul it was most interested in had fallen behind others.

"waste!"

Casanathir looked back at his subordinates and cursed disdainfully:

"I can't even get a mere human wizard... I have to take action myself!"

"We...we have pushed him to a dead end!"

Nasrezm looked at Anthonydas lying in a pool of blood, losing his body that had been active, and he said with some reluctance:

"Even if you don't come, we can..."

"Um?"

Hearing this rebuttal, Casanatire let out a dangerous hum in his nose. The faint threat made Varimasas shut his mouth rationally and decisively.

"boom"

The powerful lord of the Fear Demon King bounced his claws, and a dark green fel fire fell on Antonidas's corpse. The moment he touched the flesh and blood, the fel fire began to burn. Kasanathir buckled the soul crystal in his claws and shook it casually.

"Listen, he is still howling... What a tough soul. From the human level, he is already very good."

Hearing Casanatire's comments, Varimasas stuck out his tongue and licked his lips. It stared at the soul crystal in Casanatire's hand, his eyes full of greed:

"We can completely resurrect such a powerful soul of the mage with Frost Sorrow, turn him into a powerful lich, and let him serve as the Burning Legion..."

"Click"

Before Varimasas finished speaking, the soul crystal shining with purple light was crushed. An illusory soul floated out of the crystal. Before he could wail, it was torn to pieces by Casanathir.

After doing all this, Casanatire turned around and approached Varimasas, whispering in the dull Demon King of Fear:

"Don't tell me, you can't see the ambitions that surged in the Lich King's heart...Neozu is a hidden man. He carefully restrained his strength and was waiting for a chance to betray the Legion, and you...you are so stupid that you keep providing him with a strong enough soul. Think about it, my poor brother, once the Lich King betrays the Legion, what will happen to you accomplices!"

"This...how could this happen?"

Varimasas gritted his teeth and said:

"How dare he? The prisoner who is under our care! How dare he betray him? You're thinking too much, right?"

"Haha, I think so much?"

Casanatire snorted:

"Then tell me, how could the Quel's strata strategy planned by Tikdios fail? It's like that! Do you really think that it's all because of Tikdios' stupidity? Don't be stupid, how could a villain who can push me off the position of the first lord be really stupid?"

"Tell me again, when the Lich King's Seal Stone was thrown into Azeroth, did the fraudster put the evil soul in shackles? He just sent you to pay attention to it! Idiot... a soul without any shackles and no bondage. When it masters powerful enough, why should it still be loyal to a fierce master who has been tormenting it endlessly thousands of light years away?"

"You are all deceived by it, silly boys, you are too tender... Frost Sorrow should have been held by Tikdios himself, and now tell me when will that sword be under the control of the Lich King?"

Casanatire looked at the skeptical Varimasas, a trace of playfulness flashed through its black eyes. It patted Varimasas on the shoulder and whispered:

"Of course, you can't believe me. You have enough time to verify everything I said, but you remember that the Lich King may be just a test product of the fraudster's whim, but it is your mission. Once it escapes, you jailers who are hated to the extreme may be surrounded by the furious undead, and then... one by one, kill them all!"

"I will check it myself, but now, as long as the great demon comes to this world and as long as the legion destroys this world, the Lich King has no chance to betray it!"

Varimasas snorted:

"And the Legion, it will come soon."

"What if the Legion loses?"

Casanatire waved his claws and turned around and took a few steps. He looked back at Varimasas, who was loyal to the Legion, and he whispered:

"Blindly loyalty is not what a qualified Nasrezm should do. The world of Azeroth is more evil than you think, but my brother, always remember our ancestral teachings and find a way out for yourself at any time... Now, go and summon the legion!"

"Swish"

The heavy Book of Medivh and the Sargeras scepter shining with dark luster were thrown to Varimasas, and Casanathir's figure turned into a black bat and disappeared into the chaotic streets, its low voice echoing on the blood-stained earth:

"Tear open this sky for Archmond and its destruction army, and let the world indulge in the flames of destruction... Go, my brother, open a... a new era with your own hands!"

"The Big Knight hasn't come back yet...we can't stand it."

Outside the portal hall in a corner of Dalaran, the Silver Hand Paladins who were standing here have been seriously injured. Faced with more and more undead in the city, even the most determined warriors will feel a hint of fear rising inside.

In front of them, this gorgeous magical city was very strong in this sudden disaster. The mages who were still guarding every corner of the city used all their ways to fight back. The sparks and storms of magic were shining everywhere in the city. Some mages with strong personalities detonated their mage tower in desperate situations, and destroyed them at one time together with the surrounding blocks and the raging undead.

But the city's overall defense is too empty, or in other words, the mages are too confident in their violet barriers, but they may have forgotten that the fortresses that are known as the most solid in the world are often captured from the inside.

"Have the space lock been unlocked yet?"

The bloody captain Paladin turned around and shouted loudly: "You promised us that it only takes a while!"

"This...this anchor was not made up with normal magic structure! It's beyond my understanding...please give me some more time!"

Several advanced mages who specialize in teleporting spells were sweating profusely, but the space anchor covering the city was released by the fearful demons who specialize in evil magic. To crack this magic structure, the warlocks should be allowed to come, rather than the mages who follow the orthodox route. Although the space anchor is locked bit by bit, the speed of this destruction is really too slow.

"There's no time!"

Captain Paladin waved his shield and knocked the spider demon crawling out from the ground. He looked up and saw that the three-headed crypt lords were charging quickly in this direction. All the buildings along the street were destroyed by their brute force, and the earth was shaking and the mountains were shaking, like a big earthquake.

"Prepare to break through! Everyone, keep up with us!"

The Paladin captain roared, but just as they were about to give it a try, a portal suddenly appeared in the portal hall. As the light was broken, the embarrassing figure of Master Antonidas staggered in place. His robe had been burned by the flames and several holes were made of holes, and the hair that was always neatly carved became messy.

The moment it appeared, the great wizard waved his hands, and the heavy magic power enveloped the small block into a magic barrier, blocking the undead on the periphery.

"Space anchor...I'll untie it."

The great mage walked towards the closed portal panting. After walking a few steps, his feet became soft, but he was helped up by several mages with quick eyes and hands. Master Anthonydas said with difficulty in interfering voice:

"The Great Knights of Turayan are fighting on the north side of the city. The undead have opened the Violet Prison. You all know what dangerous creatures are being held there... I want to help him, but I have to send you away first."

As he spoke, the great wizard took off the ancient ring on his finger, looked at the crowd around him, and finally placed the ring and a special soul stone in the palm of a female high-level wizard in a posture of entrusting himself.

"Take it, boy, there is the oldest secret of Dalaran. I will send you out and bring it to Jaina... or Kelthuzad, and tell them... Dalaran's future will be handed over to them."

"No, Master, you can join us..."

This tragic scene moved everyone around. Even the tired paladins looked at Master Antonidas with a solemn face. In the desperate moments, they could always truly see a person's character.

"Don't waste time! Help me up!"

The great mage roared, and after a moment, with the help of several people, the tired great mage danced in the air with both hands. The purple magic line intertwined in front of everyone's eyes and formed a complex dizzy magic light. After a crisp sound, a flash of portal in front of him suddenly lit up.

"Go!"

Anthonydas supported his body with an ice stick. He breathed a sigh of relief, his eyes shining with ardent hope and a decisive look that was not like a false one.

"I don't know where this door leads to, but even hell is safer than Dalaran now. Go, children! The future of Dalaran and the human empire will be left to you."

"Clang"

As soon as the words were finished, a terrible crack appeared in the magic barrier set up by the great mage, and the low roar of the lord of the three-headed crypt also came into everyone's ears. Under the order of the great mage, the young mages whose faces were full of tears were tearful by the tragic farewell had to pass through the portal one by one.

"Protect them!"

The great wizard turned his back and walked out of the portal hall. The captain of the Paladin behind him nodded fiercely, and then looked back behind him. The back of Antonidas walking towards the army of undead alone remained in his heart forever.

"Swish"

The Paladin captain made a standard knight's gift to the back of the great mage, and then strode into the portal behind him. At this moment, the undead who were rushing forward frantically suddenly stopped, and the body of the great mage, who was originally extremely tired, also stretched out. He turned around and looked at the empty portal hall, with a hint of sarcasm on his face.

"Look, this is human beings... a trivial scam can completely disintegrate their fighting spirit and let them walk into hell willingly. They are really weak creatures!"

"Swish"

The figure of the fearful demon king Bernholler appeared beside the "Great Mage". It grabbed its chin and looked at the shining portal in front of it, and it whispered:

"Where did you cheat them?"

"Haha...under the deep sea...5000 meters! No life can survive in that kind of place, so be at ease, my old brother, Dalaran and its insignificant secrets...it's over!"

"Let's go, let's go."

Casanathir, who showed his true form, threw Antonidas's ice cane into the ruins, and it waved to Bainholl:

"We'll welcome the polluter...that mind full of muscles, idiot!"

"Gudu...gududu..."

Captain Paladin struggled in the deep sea. The moment he stepped out of the portal, he felt the pressure rushing from all directions. The pressure that could crush steel in an instant made the face of the fearless warrior covered in blood in an instant.

He struggled hard in the cold and deep sea water. In just 2 seconds, he felt life being squeezed out of his body bit by bit, but the next moment, a cold hand grabbed his arm and pulled it back suddenly, as if pulling him into an invisible barrier. After passing through the film that resisted the sea water, the air, the beautiful air, returned to his body again.

Captain Paladin breathed hard on the wet deck, trying hard to support his body. When his eyes were bloodshot due to the heavy pressure, under the 5,000-meter deep sea, he saw the coma mages around him and a dark figure.

"Yo, hello, Paladin."

Terion looked back at the struggled paladin on the deck, shook his fingers, a quaint ring with the Kenreto emblem was leaping at his fingertips, and in his other hand, there was a soul stone lingering with purple light.

The King of the Dark Blade put the soul stone in his ears, and he could hear an old voice roaring, his soul full of anger and despair, but in that extreme negative emotion, there was still a guardian will.
