7. Dragon Catcher(2/2)
A not-so-big storm was raging, but on the town's pier, some soldiers were secretly feeding a giant beast.
It was the injured young dragon, which was also dragged back by General Gavin Rad before the storm came, and was to be sent to Lordaeron as a trophy.
The red scales had been pitted in the battle, and the admiral's final blow had almost completely torn off its left wing. Now, it was locked to the dock with thick chains, and most of its body was soaked in water.
In the water, it seemed to have reached some agreement with humans. It became weak from being violent and no longer thought about escaping.
Facing the meat thrown into the water by the soldiers, it was somewhat uninterested, but this could not change the soldiers' enthusiasm.
As an invisible prophet who knew everything, Tyrion was not very interested in the young dragon. He turned over and mounted his Quel'dorei horse. Behind him, 70 elven rangers were ready to leave.
"I have left 30 people here to guard our compatriots..."
Tyrion looked down at Lor'themar and said softly:
"I've done what I promised you. I hope you won't let me down, Theron..."
Lor'themar put his fist on his chest and whispered:
"On the name of my family, I will do it! Have a safe journey, Tyrion!"
"Maybe next time we meet, I should call you Lord."
Tyrion and Lor'themar made a little joke. After this battle, the awkward friendship between the two changed slightly, at least they were no longer strangers.
"It's time for me to leave. I should be able to return to the camp at midnight... Remember what I said, Lor'themar. If possible, tell this to your prince. In the war between humans and orcs, participate less. Then
It won't do Quel'Thalas any good at all!"
After saying that, Tyrion jumped on his horse's head, and with a roar of war horses, the 70 rangers embarked on their return journey.
Lor'themar stood there, watching Tyrion leave. He was still a little complicated about this so-called Ranger General's best student, not only because Tyrion had always overpowered him in the Ranger Academy, but more importantly.
What's more, after this incident, Lor'themar keenly felt that Tyrion, a guy who seemed very selfish on the surface... seemed to have an extraordinary persistence in fate.
"What on earth have you experienced..."
Lor'themar shook his head, turned around and walked back to the inn in Nanhai Town. He was going to rest. The moment he stepped into the inn, the ranger captain Serent who was left behind by Tyrion found Lor'themar with an anxious look on his face.
Therma.
He grabbed Lor'themar's arm and pulled him outside the town, where there was a large pit filled with orc corpses thrown over by soldiers.
For these damn invaders, no one is even willing to give them a final place of peace.
"Look here! Captain Lor'themar..."
Serent ignored the disgusting blood stains, jumped into the pile of corpses, pointed at a guy who was obviously different from other orcs and shouted loudly:
"The human sailors found him on the shore... It's a troll, a troll mixed in those orc troop carriers! I checked his tattoo, it's Amani!"
"Amani?! How come they appear in the orc army?! Are these beasts united with the orcs?"
Lor'themar's eyes widened at this moment, and the next moment, he thought of something more dangerous, and his eyes suddenly turned to the northeast:
