Chapter 64 Challenge

Wang Hua looked at the lacquerware and said affectionately: "That is to give it life."

The most famous one is that Gu Kaizhi painted a Golden Li Tathagata for Wagong Temple, with a smile on his face and his eyes seemed to be able to speak, and this Tathagata seemed to be coming out. This Buddha statue attracted countless people to read the paintings, and soon raised millions of dollars for Wagong Temple. The most amazing one was Zhang Sengyou of the Liang Dynasty, who drew four dragons on Anle Temple in Jinling, but did not draw eyes. The tourists were surprised and insisted that Zhang paint his eyes. Zhang had no choice but to light up his eyes on the two dragons, and as a result, the two dragons rode on the auspicious clouds and flew straight to the sky.

The latter statement is too exaggerated, but it is the same as what Wang Hua said about life.

Looking at the confidence on Wang Hua's face, Manager He also rubbed his hands happily and said, "That's good, that's good."

Wang Hua said again: "Just make sure you know this matter, and you must not make it public. Sometimes the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment."

But Wang Hua obviously did not point to himself. He pointed to the north with his finger. Manager He understood that this was that Hanlinzhai's investment this time was huge and he took the initiative to make the momentum so big, but once he found out that he had failed, he could imagine the feeling of losing in his heart.

But Manager He looked at Wang Hua. In his heart, Wang Hua was like what Li Longji said, with a fairy spirit, and was not fake to Princess Anle, Li Longji, Di Renjie, and his talent was even more commendable. But suddenly speaking out this somewhat evil idea gave him the feeling that it seemed as if a Taoist monk was preaching to everyone and saving all living beings. But suddenly pointed at a pretty little lady and said, "What are you listening to? You haven't gone home to wash clothes and cook for your husband!"

This huge suspension almost made Manager He fall down.

Time flies like a shuttle. May has passed. June has entered. The ground is covered with locust snow. When the wind blows, the pitiful little figures are shaking.

After more than a hundred days and more than a thousand working days, the hard carving of this lacquerware was basically completed. Of course, it will take some time before the end. Wang Hua began to paint the statues. However, when the lacquer was used very little, it mainly used gold and treasure inlaying.

In addition, a kind of furniture craft is used - sticking yellow!

Except for some pen washing, bottles and discs, most of the lacquerware are related to furniture, that is, they are used the most in furniture.

The process of yellowing is a process that combines with lacquer art to make the lacquerware more exquisite. But it is very complicated. First, take the yellow surface layer in the bamboo tube, turn it over, and after cooking and pressing, it is then glued to the paint tire to make the utensil. When the yellowing develops to the highest height, the pattern is hollowed out on the pasted yellowing to reveal the background color of the paint tire. This has the effect of carving and paper cutting. Of course, this technology officially appeared in the Qing Dynasty.

This was also what Wang Hua considered repeatedly.

Because of this great Dharma Assembly, all the monks are present, but they are only monks, not Buddhas. In normal circumstances, using gold embeddings to make the outside of these more than 7,000 monks covered with golden light. This method is also possible, but if you think about it carefully, you will feel a little vulgar.

Why did Li Longji say that Wang Hua has fairy spirit? It is that he treats the powerful and noble in a false way. If he was like Song Zhiwen, he could do anything for glory and wealth, and he would not have time to vomit. The same is true for this lacquerware. It is certain that gold is embedded in gold on the outside of the statue, but after all, it is not a Buddha, so it would seem exaggerated. Of course, it was not a flatterer to Tang Sanzang, who had died for thirty or forty years. The main reason is that this will make people feel luxurious for luxury, in other words, it will become vulgar.

Therefore, using yellow bags on these more than 7,000 monks as their clothes, not only creates a stronger three-dimensional feeling, but also has a thick and simple temperament!

In addition, Wang Hua is still using colors to make a careful consideration. For him, he is the best at this. He is a master of soft carvings and a master of Chinese painting. He used a kind of ink blue on the futon, which is what the lacquerware world calls black lacquer. Because the whole body will be purple and gold as the main body, and the light of these two colors is very similar, which will make people feel visually tired. Therefore, using a few ink blue on the futon on the statue will immediately make the entire lacquerware brighten.

But you can only choose ink blue. If you choose sky blue, beautiful blue, peacock blue, and blue blue, it is also terrible because the blue is too bright and does not match the overall thick theme of the lacquerware, then this lacquerware also failed.

For the lacquer painting below, Wang's paintings are mainly red, but they are mixed with some black lacquer, and a new lacquer method is used again - ice cracking technique.

This was invented by Li Zhiqing, a master of lacquerware in the Qing Dynasty. He used black lacquer to draw out natural ice cracks. After drying in the shade, he was covered with dark gray mung bean paste paint, dried in the shade again, and then grinded into brightness. This pattern is similar to the famous porcelain of the Song Dynasty, and the ice cracks of Longquan Kiln porcelain, which are very simple and cute. Also placed on these pictures, it will make people feel the vicissitudes and heavyness of the history of Tang Sanzang's line.

This is the real foundation, not something that can be expressed by gems or gold.

Moreover, Wang Hua spent a lot of effort to perfect the lacquerware and specially prepared a new lacquer - Boluo lacquer.

This lacquer was invented by Huizhou lacquermen in the Southern Song Dynasty. It was made of ores such as turquoise, cinnabar, coral, yellow stone, blue vein blue, cinnabar and other ores. Boluo lacquer can make lacquerware more simple and elegant, but the process of making Boluo lacquer was lost during the anti-Japanese war. It was not until the late 1980s that the lacquerist Yu Jinhai made it again. More than 20 years later, Wang Hua happened to get the formula of this lacquer. However, he had never tried it, and he did not expect to bring it to this world for experimentation.

Wang Hua used this kind of bolo lacquer instead of normal black lacquer. As for the inscription, it is better to do it. The main thing is to use piles of lacquer and carved lacquer to show a three-dimensional feeling of gold characters, and then fill it with gold and polish it. This is kung fu. The main Wang Hua must strive to write each character well and carve it well.

In fact, this lacquerware, even if it is so luxurious, is also the most popular lacquerware craft in the world of Wang Hua's previous life.

Seeing the lacquerware being almost completed day by day, even Manager He was very confident. He also proudly told Wang Hua about something. Originally, not everyone cared about Hanlinzhai's backstage, but after Wang Hua's incident, all the people in Luoyang knew that this was a shop opened by the Wang family in Taiyuan. Not to mention that, some people helped Hanlinzhai cheer, and there were many ordinary people among this group of people. After all, the Wang family has always had a good reputation for hundreds of years.

But there were also many people cheering for Baolinzhai, not for the attitude of Manager He, but for Wang Hua's good character, good knowledge, or a weak person.

But Hanlinzhai made a lot of noise this time, and sometimes he deliberately asked someone to visit this unformed lacquerware. All visitors were frightened by the luxury of this lacquerware. Some people said that the screen would emit bright light even at night. After seeing this lacquerware, almost no one thought Baolinzhai or Wang Hua had a chance of winning.

Speaking of this, Manager He smiled proudly: "The greater the hope, the greater the disappointment. Hehe."

Moreover, Hanlinzhai was also interested in slowing down, just waiting for Wang Hua to lead the people to complete the lacquerware and compete in the ring. He saw who had the lacquerware more exquisite, so he was so as to shame Wang Hua.

Wang Hua put down the knife, stood up and wiped sweat with the corner of his clothes, and said to Manager He: "You said to the people in Hanlinzhai that on the seventh day of the seventh month, the moon rises to the willow branches, when the magpie bridge meets, outside the White Horse Temple, the day when the lacquerware is released."

Go and challenge!

Didn’t your lacquerware show off your colorful lacquer at night? Then we will challenge it at night.

But in the Ming Dynasty, because Hanlinzhai has a large amount of gold, silver, jade, jewelry inlaid in the night, Baolinzhai will suffer even more. When Hanlinzhai heard this news, he would agree happily. But the more under the dim light, the more simplified the lacquerware will appear. Moreover, the background of this lacquerware is a famous event in Buddhism. Now outside the White Horse Temple, the more this atmosphere is displayed.
