Chapter 2, Sunrise

The next day, he went out at the fifth hour. There was a glimmer of light when he reached the top of the mountain. Zhang Sanhua used her sleeves to wipe the dew from the bluestone slab, sat down cross-legged, and supported her chin and looked to the east.

The breathing slowly slowed down and became longer.

When she was five years old, her eldest sister took her and her second sister to the mountain to pick mushrooms. She was lost for some reason. She was stupid. At that time, she just thought that if she stood higher, she could see where her eldest sister was. So she kept climbing up, becoming more and more tired and afraid, and she climbed up until dark and until the moon set. When Zhang Sanhua finally climbed to the top of the mountain, what hit her eyes was a corner of the day that was about to break the clouds.

The scene was too shocking. Zhang Sanhua stumbled to the center of the top of the mountain and found a bluestone slab. She simply wiped it with her sleeves, staring at the sun and sat down.

The stone slabs passing by the night dew on the top of the mountain are really cool, and adults have to tremble when they rub. When the three flowers sit down, a cool air flows upwards, and meets the first day in their eyes. I feel a roar in my mind, but I am extremely awake.

Looking at the first day, I could see a trace of purple air vaguely surrounding me. I subconsciously squinted my eyes and sucked, and I felt my whole body was comfortable and warm.

That day, Zhang Sanhua walked down by herself. Only Xiaohua was with her eldest sister at home. Her eldest sister sprained her ankle and her ankle was swollen.

Xiaohua was stunned when she saw Sanhua, and ran out. Before Sanhua could react, her elder sister started to hug her and cry.

The eldest sister cried and Zhang Sanhua fell asleep. She slept for three days. When she woke up, her mother was exploring Sanhua's forehead with her hands. When she saw her open her eyes, her eyes turned red in an instant.

"It's good to wake up when you wake up. Thank goodness, San'er finally woke up. My son, you scared my mother. I don't dare to run around like this again in the future."

It’s strange. Although I had been sleeping for three days, I woke up and drank a few big bowls of chicken soup, Sanhua began to jump around again.

After a few days of peace at home, I always felt like a cat was scratching his claws. I just wanted to go up the top of the mountain to see the sunrise. After struggling for half a month, I finally sneaked out one night after confirming that everyone in my family was asleep.

Maybe I was not scared, but because I had been well-raised for half a month, the mountain road this time was not that difficult to walk, and I actually reached the top again overnight. When I reached the top, there was only a glimmer of light in the sky.

Sitting on the bluestone slab, I was tired after all, and fell asleep in a daze. Suddenly, I was shocked and looked closely. I saw that the red sun had just emerged, and a ray of purple air was being sucked into my nose.

This time I returned home and was not yet in the middle of the Japanese, but my mother held it down and slapped it hard. This was the first time that Zhang Sanhua was beaten, and Zhang Xiaohua was still echoing, it was time.

This time, I was wild and thoughtful. Zhang Sanhua had to find a way to sneak out every now and then was beaten when she went home. Later, my mother found out that she had been taught repeatedly, and nothing happened to her when she went up the mountain many times. She was in good health, so she went with her.

With this tacit approval from my mother, Zhang Sanhua was even more wild. She had to go out in the middle of the night almost every day and sat on the mountain for a while. Even so, she was still very energetic. Once, Mr. Lin told her to endorse Zhang Sanhua that she forgot the time, and when she realized that it was already the third day of the day, she ran away in a hurry, and rushed to the point where the sunrise had passed for a long time. In addition to being depressed, she suddenly realized that she could run so fast.

When she went down the mountain, she chased a rabbit and hit the tree. When the mother looked at her holding the rabbit, the broom in her hand fell to the ground in shock.

At that time, my elder sister's feet had not been cured. The doctor said that this could only be raised. Moreover, my elder sister's health had suffered too much before, and it would affect her life span. My mother borrowed money to buy eggs and longans to nourish her, but my elder sister's body was always sick. My elder sister had to take care of the vegetable fields at home and the elder sister. She was so haggard that she could see the naked eye, and she had to support her two young people.

Zhang Sanhua saw it and felt sorry for her mother. Mr. Lin happened to ask her if she would like to accompany Lin Ergou to study for two meals. Zhang Sanhua thought that she could save her food and sister could eat more, so she agreed. My mother felt that she refused to take advantage of Mr. Lin, so Mr. Lin advised her for a while before she let go.

But because he wanted to go up the mountain to watch the sunrise, Zhang Sanhua actually went to Mr. Lin’s house for lunch at noon. In the afternoon, he recognized Lin Ergou and went home after dinner. Once, the Lin family made meat for dinner, and Zhang Sanhua secretly hid it in her hand and wanted to take it back, but Mr. Lin found it. The husband didn’t say anything, but in the future, there would always be a meat bun for Zhang Sanhua to let her eat on the way.

Zhang Sanhua knew that Mr. Lin was helping their family, so although she had a bad attitude towards Lin Ergou, she still respected Mr. Lin very much.

Although the buns I brought back in the past were a bit meaty, everyone would lose it if they were divided. This time, Zhang Sanhua brought a rabbit back and Zhang Xiaohua was so happy that she mostly nourished her body. She could just divide a small piece of it.

But my grandmother said, send it to Mr. Lin.

The second sister cried for a long time, but the rabbit still sent it to Mr. Lin.

Zhang Sanhua wanted to hug her second sister and told her not to be so sad. She slapped her with one hand. She looked at her elder sister at a loss, and she leaned against the door frame with a look of guilt.

The next day, Zhang Sanhua took a pheasant home.

My mother didn't know what to say, but when she looked at her second daughter's pitiful look, she finally made a chicken meal and made a shuttlecock with the most beautiful hair of the pheasant. With this shuttlecock, the second sister was proud of her in the village for a long time.

After that, Zhang Sanhua could bring some things home from time to time when she went up the mountain, sometimes a rabbit, sometimes a pheasant, sometimes a bird egg, and once she even got a fish home. When Ah Niang remembered the words of the Taoist priest, she completely changed her mind and treated Sanhua as a boy. Even if you don’t see a boy, there is no Sanhua in the village who runs fast and has great strength.

After raising this for three months, the eldest sister was about to get better, so Zhang Sanhua suggested that the whole family go to watch the sunrise together, but the eldest sister just smiled, and the second sister rolled her eyes directly.

After mentioning this a few times, no one took it seriously, Zhang Sanhua let it go. However, Lin Ergou had been with her twice, but she couldn't walk halfway and stopped going. Mr. Lin shook his head when he knew about this. He looked at her with a strange expression, but in the end he didn't say anything.

When the elder sister raised her face and saw that she had some meat, her mother forbidden Sanhua from taking wild food home frequently, saying that she was afraid of offending the mountain god. Zhang Sanhua disagreed, but she was still obedient, and only took it back for a while for more than a month. She said something else when she was greedy.

One day, Mr. Lin had finished class early, and Zhang Sanhua heard Ah Mother and her elder sister chatting at her doorstep.

"...My grandma, why don't you let Sanhua take wild food home? Xiaohua has been greedy recently. Even if you don't eat it, it's good to sell it for a small amount of money to save it."

"You had no choice but to be sick before, but now you have recovered and your debts have been paid. I, a widow, dare not live such a good life."

Zhang Sanhua stood at the door for a long time, turned around and ran back to the Lin family, and told Mr. Lin that he didn't want to study anymore.

Anyway, those classic collections are so annoying that she doesn't like at all. Only those who are stupid like Lin Ergou can learn it.
