Xunzi's disciples became legalists directly, replacing rituals and music with legal rules, which could be considered to have completely walked out of their own path and constructed their own right to interpret. The rituals and music were trampled under their feet, and the laws and regulations were on the big stage, and were considered by Qin to be better than rituals and music.

Xunzi realized the problem, but they did not completely grab it in the process of competing for the power of interpretation. There were still a large number of Confucian scholars who praised Yao, Shun and Yu, believing that Yao, Shun and Yu were the standards of gentlemen, and what Xunzi said was useless. Therefore, there were few wise men in the world, because everyone did not know which side of the gentleman was the real gentleman.

"We are not the twelve sons, and do not respect Yao, Shun and Yu. "Then I want to ask you back, you say that human nature is evil, but you believe that learning rituals and music can become a gentleman, and believe that gentlemen are the source of etiquette and law. So is it a gentleman who invented rituals and music first, or is it a gentleman who first achieved rituals and music first? Or is there a gentleman who came from heaven, a person who was born a gentleman without learning rituals and music?" Yun Yao said that this is like everyone is guilty and needs a savior. Pessimistic concept of human nature requires a person who saves the world. Religion can say that the savior was sent by God, so how do Xunzi plan to explain where the first gentleman who saved human nature is evil from? It can't be sent by heaven.

Xunzi was silent. In his opinion, this question was natural. As long as he was 'clearly divided into groups', there would naturally be gentlemen, and there would naturally be rituals and music. After all, the class already exists, just regulate it, and there is no need for a natural gentleman. He said slowly and forcefully: "Etiquette is different, music is unity, etiquette already exists, and music already exists, and sooner or later a gentleman will be born."

Li means to stipulate the class, but after the class stipulates, there must be communication, that is the work of music. The communication between various classes is completed through music, which is the perfect world in Xunzi's heart.

"In other words, it's not that there is no gentleman in the world, but that there is still a lack of gentleman in the world. Everyone knows that it's very dark at night, but it's lighted up after lighting the lamp. Then I can say that there is no darkness in this world, but there is only the lack of light. The same is true for human nature's evil thoughts. There is no evil, but just the lack of kindness." "The evil of human nature is the lack of goodness. As long as everyone can find goodness, everyone is a gentleman." Yun Yao copied the statement of other people's religion, but as long as it's easy to use.

In Confucius, everyone can become a saint, and now everyone can become a gentleman. Yun Yao said that only such a huge amount of core values ​​can make Confucianism great again. Yun Yao is Confucius' only female disciple, and Confucianism is great again, which will also be beneficial to her. Moreover, if Yun Yao's current proposal can fight against Western religion, Confucianism can hold on in the future, and there will be stumbling blocks on the road to the prosperity of Western religion.

The Han Dynasty respected Confucianism alone. In the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, metaphysics emerged. In fact, metaphysics was to seize the power of Confucianism. Later, the Sui and Tang Dynasties became the world of Western religion. Therefore, respecting Confucianism alone does not mean that Confucianism can really stand. Later generations criticized Confucianism because everyone needed to rebuild its right to speak, and Confucianism repeatedly took it out to whip the corpse. Therefore, whether it is advocating Confucianism or opposing Confucianism, it is not important whether Confucianism itself is good or bad. What is important is the ownership of the right to speak, and whose right to explain it is in the hands of whom.

Those who support Confucianism can say the goodness of a thousand Confucianisms, and those who oppose Confucianism can say the badness of a thousand Confucianisms. Therefore, if you only talk about good or bad, you can make a fuss until the end of the world. The important thing is to master the right to speak. With the right to speak, Taoist thought can become Confucianism, Mohist thought can also become Confucianism, Western religious thought can also become Confucianism, and even scientific thought can become Confucianism, which can be vividly staged.

Without the right to speak, Confucianism will become someone else's wedding dress.

"There is no evil, it is just a lack of good. A gentleman is inherent. If he doesn't see it, it is a lack of a gentleman?" Xunzi said that this view transcends good and evil, and it can be said to be a Tao, so he bowed to Yunyao and said, "Please accept me as his disciple."

Ordinary people had enough power to interpret the Tao, but the real idealist would pursue the Tao itself.

When the three of you walk, you will have my teacher. Therefore, Xunzi is willing to take Yun Yao as his teacher.

After all, she could not rely solely on herself to fight against Western religion. Confucianism could become the main force in fighting against Western religion.
