Chapter 602 The Great Sage Comes Out of the Mountain

Compared to the elegance of the hot air balloon, Tang Monk's side was not going well, because the more you reach the border, the harder the conditions were. There were enough inns in the Tang Dynasty. As long as you didn't walk on the small road, you could find a place to rest, which could replenish food and supplies. However, near the border, there were fewer and fewer inns, and fewer places to replenish supplies, and the conditions were getting harder and harder.

In the Western Zhou Dynasty, in order to be able to develop, it was determined that the road must be 10 miles a hut, 30 miles a hut, and 50 miles a hut. Lu provides food, accommodation, and collections, and transactions. It took more than a thousand years. Although there were wars and many facilities were abandoned, they were renovated at the beginning of each dynasty. Now in the 13th year of Zhenguan, the facilities in the Tang Dynasty have basically returned to normal. Therefore, it is still very smooth to travel within the territory, but when it reaches the border, people cannot endure hardship.

Often, I can’t find the inn, there is no supply, and I bring less food, and the road is getting harder and harder to walk. This is still the border, and I didn’t know what it would turn out to be when the Tang Dynasty came out.

This is a barbarian land. There is no way to develop the level of development too low, the road is difficult to walk, and there is no place to supply. In a barbarian country, there may be only a few desert oasis points in the entire territory that can provide supplies, and these points are basically the supply points on the trade route, and they are also the most valuable points on the route.

Therefore, if the Tang Dynasty went to war and defeated the barbarian countries, that is, to occupy these points, it would be impossible to effectively govern the barbarian countries. The transportation was inconvenient and insufficient development. If the army went there, the supplies would have to be transported from far-reaching borders and could not be maintained at all. If it was to develop, it would cost money and maybe it would be a wedding dress for others.

Just like in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Zhou emperor actually didn't care about development. The Zhou emperor occupied the most developed land, and the development of wasteland was the responsibility of each country. So in the end, the fact that the strength of the vassal states surpassed the Zhou emperor. If the Tang Dynasty helped the barbarians develop, it would be hard to say whether they could make a return on their capital. So in the future, the Central Plains countries basically did business, and the development was the small country itself.

Because the harder and harder they went, there were many people who donated money and fled privately in Tang Monk's team. Originally, a team of more than 300 people was left on the border.

In fact, my subordinates have long reminded Tang Monk to arrest and punish him to serve as a warning. But Tang Monk is an indecisive monk. His shortcomings are nothing in Chang'an, but after he reaches the wilderness, his shortcomings are magnified, and many of Tang Monk's advantages are useless in the current environment. Therefore, Tang Monk always goes with the flow, does not force or stick to it, so more and more people escape, and in the end, even the last few devout feet and reporters ran away. Because the Tang Dynasty really came out, sleeping in the open and not eating enough food would become the norm, which was really unbearable. Although they were just ordinary people in Chang'an, life was acceptable, and there was no need to follow the stupid monk to risk their lives.

It can be seen that anyone with a way out will not sacrifice their lives.

Tang Seng was confused. In his opinion, it was so correct to obtain the scriptures, and there were guidance from Guanyin Bodhisattva. Why were these ordinary people unwilling to go? Because these ordinary people pursued their own pleasures, and they worshiped Buddha for transactions, not beliefs.

Therefore, once the cost of worshiping Buddha exceeds their endurance, they will resolutely turn away from the Buddha, even if Guanyin Bodhisattva appears, it is useless.

They all hope that Bodhisattvas can show themselves to fulfill their wishes. It is not that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva let them do this and that, or even ask them to take risks with their lives. If it were the latter, they would rather Bodhisattvas than show themselves.

Therefore, the monotheistic religion always likes to force mortals into a situation where there is no choice, such as a major disaster, seizing everything from people, and even controlling their own lives. When they are desperate, they can only believe in gods and become pious. Once they have a choice, the mortals have flexible standards and start to trade with gods.

Although he was ignorant, Tang Monk had to continue because he knew that if he did not seek the true scriptures, the people of the Tang Dynasty would always maintain this state of unknown status and would not make any progress. Isn’t it because mortals do not understand the true meaning of Buddhism that they will fear and retreat? They will not stop and must go to obtain the scriptures.

However, the reality will soon let Tang Seng know that if he is a weak chicken without external help, he may be eaten by a tiger at any time. If he stays in the second mortal world, it would be fine. As long as Tang Seng follows the Silk Road, although it is difficult, he will definitely reach Tianzhu after a circle. You can go to the Western Regions first. The Western Regions are a transit station for east-west and east-west commodities and a hub for land power. You can go to the Western Regions, south-east, north-west, and south-to-south.

But the first mortal world has not been so smooth. Although there is trade, there is no Silk Road, and there are all monsters along the way. It is reported that Tang Monk's flesh has an immortal effect, and Tang Monk alone cannot complete Journey to the West.

Fortunately, the Western religion had realized this, so it sent a special person to guide Tang Seng to accept Sun Wukong as his disciple.

Tang Monk unknowingly passed through the Two Realms Mountains and traveled from the Second Mortal to the First Mortal, and he knew nothing.

Sun Wukong had been waiting for a long time, but he had been waiting for Tang Seng, so he shouted that Master would stay, hoping that Tang Seng could climb up the mountain to get the calligraphy, so that he could loosen his muscles and bones, so that he could use a magic trick of the mountain to throw away the annoying Five Elements Mountain.

The first time the master and disciple met, Tang Seng was very scared, but Sun Wukong said that he was not a monster, but the Great Sage of the Monkey King, and he was also a visitor arranged by Guanyin Bodhisattva. This introduction dispelled Tang Seng's suspicion.

It was heard that it was the arrangement of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Tang Seng chose to believe without any doubt, and climbed up the mountain with his hands and feet to reveal the Dharma letter.

It’s been five hundred years, to be precise, it’s more than six hundred years, but rounding is still five hundred years. The Monkey King is back, Dongdong~!

The Five Elements Mountain was pushed away, and Sun Wukong flipped dozens of people to enjoy this hard-earned freedom. Sun Wukong was only over a thousand years old, and half of the monkey's life was spent under the Five Elements Mountain. He really should sing a song of tears.

Fortunately, over a thousand years old is nothing to monkey. After all, his name is not on the book of life and death, so monkey still has a long way to go. Now it is not too late to reform and become a monkey again.

"Thank you for helping me, it's just that you came a little late, so I'll let Mr. Sun wait." As soon as he was released from prison, Sun Wukong began to dislike Tang Seng for coming too late, so he let him stay in prison for a few more years.

Tang Seng didn't know what to say, and thought to himself what disciple Guanyin Bodhisattva had arranged for him. However, since it was arranged by the Bodhisattva, he would take it down with tears. So he said, "Since you have entered my Buddhism today, I will give you a Dharma name."

"This is a master who doesn't need to be done. I originally have the Dharma name, called Sun Wukong."

Tang Seng thought that Wukong was not bad, so he said, "Look at how you look like a frigid little head, so I will give you a mixed name and call him "Walker."

"Okay." The traveler said there was no problem, and then took the initiative to carry the load and lead the horse and followed Tang Seng on the road.
