Chapter 21: The Reckless Neville
Harry is very embarrassed now.
He even wanted to take off the gauze from his head, wrap it around his face, and then lied that he was Draco Malfoy.
However, this obviously can only exist in fantasy.
The reality is that Professor Forrest not only saw who he was, but also heard the conversation between him and Ron just now.
Ron was even more at a loss and he stuttered.
"Fufufu, Professor Forrest."
Before Sherlock could speak, Felch on the other side gave them a stinking face.
"There is less than half an hour left to be curfew. What are you trying to do when you dress up like this and run around the castle?"
Harry hurriedly explained.
"We just came from Mrs. Pomfrey, and Professor Dumbledore asked us to go to the school hospital to deal with the fall..."
The more he said, the smaller he said, the more he said, it was not much bigger than the mosquito screaming.
Sherlock looked at the two of them strangely, and when he saw Harry and the others driving a flying car on the train, he recalled some plots.
He remembered that in the original work, the two of them should not have suffered such serious injuries.
"When I was on the train, I saw you greet me in the sky, and I thought you could finally land safely."
After hearing what he said, Harry and Ron were even more embarrassed to see others, and they wanted to shrink their heads into their collars.
"You just said you were going to ask for leave in my class tomorrow? Is your injury so serious?" Sherlock asked calmly.
Harry seemed to be anxious to speak, but ended up choking by his saliva. He coughed several times before he came to explain.
"The professor who I joked with Ron, we were not seriously injured. Mrs. Pomfrey didn't even leave us in hospital for observation. She protected the wound with magic bandages and she would be cured in two days, and it would not affect class or class."
Sherlock nodded slightly.
"That's good. I don't want students to take leave before my first class even begins."
"We promise not to be absent from the professor!"
"Go back and have a rest."
Hearing him say this, Harry and Ron were as amnesty as two weasels who were found to steal chickens and didn't steal them, and hurried back to the Gryffindor lounge.
"You shouldn't let them go so easily. Just now, these two students deliberately skip class, so you should be sentenced to confinement!"
Felch was a little angry at the fact that she was so simple that she could let Harry and the others go.
The main reason is that the appearance of Sherlock pretending to be too successful, which makes Filch mistakenly believe that he and Snape are the same kind of person.
He also hates naughty students, especially Gryffindor.
"They just have this idea, and they should not be punished if they have no idea to take action."
Seeing that he said this, Felch was not talking too much, but took Sherlock to continue walking towards the Gryffindor lounge.
On the way, they met other little wizards of Gryffindor. Although Sherlock could see that Filch obviously wanted to punish them, he had no choice but to deal with them because it was not yet curfew time.
Just as he walked to the corridor where the entrance to the Gryffindor lounge was located, a rash boy suddenly bumped into Sherlock.
Just as the boy's body was in contact with him, Sherlock suddenly felt a burning sensation in the position of the crescent-shaped birthmark on his left arm!
The feeling came too short, even making him wonder if it was an illusion he had made.
Sherlock frowned and looked down at the boy who bumped into him and fell to the ground.
He had a round face, a little fat, a little black hair, and a little pale because of fear.
Sherlock stretched out a hand to him, trying to help pull him up from the ground.
But the boy just glanced at him timidly, and then got up from the ground by himself.
"Hug, sorry, Professor Forrest, I, I ran too fast just now and didn't see you."
"It's okay," Sherlock said, and then he asked casually, "What's your name?"
The boy lowered his head, and it seemed that he was really not brave.
"Nevil Longbottom."
"Longbaton..." Sherlock repeated the boy's last name.
He is familiar with this name.
Because in the first plot he is most familiar with, the boy in front of him appeared, and the plot later seems to occupy a very important position.
But why did the birthmark on his left arm get hot again when he bumped into him?
The last time the birthmark reacted was when I met Malfoy and his son at Lihen Bookstore. The burning sensation was very strong at that time, but now I met Neville, but the burning sensation was only a short moment.
So what is the connection between this?
Because of the lack of clues, Sherlock really couldn't imagine what Neville Longbottom and Malfoy had in common.
And just as he was thinking, Neville asked in a small voice.
"Can I leave now? Professor."
Sherlock came to his senses only then, and he patted Neville on the shoulder.
"Go back and have a rest."
Hearing his permission, Neville turned around and ran to the entrance of the Gryffindor lounge, and crawled in.
Watching his back disappear, Sherlock looked at the hand he had just slapped on Neville with thoughtfulness.
After contacting the boy's body again, the birthmark on his left arm was no longer responding, which made him wonder whether the burning sensation just now was his illusion.
"Gryffindor students are just rash! They can't even see clearly when walking. They should teach the children in this academy a lesson and let them know what the rules are!"
Felch looked at Sherlock in a daze, thinking that he was still thinking about Neville hitting him just now, so he helped Sherlock say these lessons to himself.
Sherlock shook his head, not worrying about the hot birthmark.
The crescent-shaped birthmark is highly likely left by the original owner's wizard mother.
The reason why Professor McGonagall, Weasley, Hager and Dumbledore took care of the original owner so much is probably because they are familiar with the original owner's mother.
Judging from the description in the diary, the original owner didn't seem to know what his mad mother was because of her, and she had such a close relationship with the famous wizards in the magic world.
Sherlock felt that when the time came, he could start from this point.
Directly ask Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall about their relationship with their mother and the origin of the birthmark on them.
