Chapter 29: A trip to the battalion headquarters

That night, the entire recruit camp failed to have a good sleep.

The deserter was said to have been quickly arrested and taken directly to the battalion headquarters.

The camp usually turns off the lights and is always dark after the lights are turned off, and it was unusually lit all night that night.

However, the other recruits were punished.

I don’t know if it is a unified arrangement or if there is a tacit understanding between all squad leaders and platoon commanders.

Starting from the end of the first set, there were four emergency sets blowing throughout the night.

When the wake-up call rang the next day, he got up from the bed with a tired look on his face. Last night's emergency meeting completely lost his energy to analyze and summarize the failed escape plan.

As soon as I finished dressing and left the line-up, I saw Dai Dehan wave to him.

"Soerful, come here!"

Zhuang Yan quickly trotted to Daedhan, and then he noticed that the captain, commonly known as the horizontal bar three practice, was standing next to his platoon leader.

Although Zhuang Yan didn't know how to identify the military rank, one thing is certain. This officer is bigger than Dedhan. Dedhan only had a red card without stars hanging on his shoulder, and there were three stars on it.

The captain looked at Daedhan, then looked at the solemn and asked, "Is he solemn?"

Dadehan nodded and said, "Yes, it's him."

A solemn heart suddenly hangs.

People from the camp?

Shouldn't you find out that you are going to escape?

But he immediately denied his ridiculous thoughts.

Because the escape plan has not been implemented yet, strictly speaking, I just went to the toilet and was not considered a deserter.

The captain said, "Leave it to me."

Dai Dehan turned to Zhuang Yan and said, "Go and go with Deputy Instructor Liang."

Zhuangyan's legs were weak, and she was so shocked that her hat was covered in sweat. She stammered: "Go...where to go..."

Deputy Instructor Liang frowned and said, "Where do you come from so much nonsense? Don't ask what you shouldn't ask! You'll know when you go."

Zhuang Yan could only shut up and follow Deputy Instructor Liang honestly.

Halfway through the road, Zhuang Yan couldn't help it and asked Deputy Instructor Liang again: "Chief...why are we going to the camp department?"

This time, Associate Instructor Liang did not refuse to answer and asked bluntly: "He Huan is your classmate?"

He Huan?

Zhuang Yan nodded in confusion and said, "Chief, he is my classmate, let's join the army together..."

Deputy Instructor Liang snorted and said, "You fellow villagers are so successful!"

After saying these half of the words, he didn't continue and walked with his hands behind his back.

Zhuang Yan followed him and thought about this sentence.

Suddenly, a terrible thought exploded in my mind.

Could it be...

He Huan, the deserter last night?!

I'm fucking!

After all the way to the entrance of the camp, Deputy Instructor Liang pointed to one of the bungalows and said, "Get in."

The battalion is on a small hill and can overlook the camp below. The facilities are also very simple. The barracks and large row houses are slightly different, with a slightly smaller area, one next to another.

When I entered, I saw an officer sitting behind the simple desk. The rank on his shoulder was only one star, but there were two bars.

"This is Instructor Li." Associate Instructor Liang briefly introduced the person sitting behind the desk, then pointed to a wooden chair and said to Zhuangyan: "Sit."

After Zhuangyan sat down, instructor Li Feng first asked about Zhuangyan's situation and then turned to the topic.

"Zhuangyan, actually, I called you here today because of your fellow villager He Huan... The situation is like this. He Huan escaped from the military camp last night, but we have already been chased back by someone. I heard that you are very familiar with him? Or are you a classmate?"

Zhuang Yan's face suddenly turned blue and he stood up from the chair suddenly.

As the saying goes, I am guilty of being a thief, and I plan to be a deserter, but I am not discovered. So I quickly said, "Chief, I don't know that He Huan wants to be a deserter, and I don't plan to be a deserter with him..."

Li Feng couldn't help but grin, stretched out his hand, and signaled Zhuangyan to sit down: "I didn't say you want to be a deserter with him, why are you anxious?"

The solemn heart fell back into his stomach and he quickly sat down.

"I'm asking you to come because He Huan is currently locked in the confinement room of the battalion. His emotions are very unstable. We have notified the local armed forces and his parents by phone to ask them to come to the army to do He Huan's ideological work. However, before they arrive here, I want to find someone with him and stabilize his emotions first."

Zhuang Yan then realized that it was not because he wanted to be a deserter that he was leaked, but because he wanted to help and persuade He Huan.

This kid He Huan!

This incident was solemn and unexpected.

He Huan is indeed from the same school as himself, and his relationship is pretty good, but He Huan is a soft-hearted person and is a timid type. How dare he become a deserter?

I never expected it.

"Chief, how is He Huan doing now?"

Li Feng said: "The emotions are very unstable, crying and making a fuss, and you have to go home if you don't want to die. Of course, this is impossible. Being a deserter is a very shameful thing. I heard from your platoon leader that you are serious in training, so I think you can definitely persuade him from the perspective of a friend and let him serve with peace of mind."

The solemn face turned red. If Li Feng knew that he was a little short last night, he would almost become a deserter. I wonder if he would praise himself for "training more seriously".

So he said, "Okay, I'll go and persuade him."

Li Feng nodded and smiled with satisfaction, and said to Deputy Instructor Liang: "Take him to the confinement room."

Before I could reach the confinement room, I heard a cry from inside, intermittently mixed with a few desperate roars.

"Let me out! I'm going home! I'm leaving this ghost place! Woo woo woo--"

Deputy Instructor Liang stopped and looked back at Zhuang Yan.

His solemn face turned red again.

He originally planned to be a deserter, but when he saw He Huan's appearance, he felt embarrassed and was simply a shameful person in his hometown.

But I was soon ashamed. Wasn't that the case?

But he didn't do it, and He Huan's grandson actually ran away.

Just a hundred steps to laugh.

Deputy Instructor Liang asked the veteran who was standing guard at the door to open the door and solemnly poked his head inside.

The confinement room is not big, about seven or eight square meters, with nothing inside, only a simple bed with a quilt on it, probably He Huan's own, there is a one-meter-high retaining wall in the corner, which is probably a toilet.

He Huan himself squatted beside the bed, holding his knees with his hands, the tears on his face were not dry, and the dirty body and trousers were all covered with yellow mud.

"You guys talk, call me after the talk." Assistant instructor Liang said, pushing Zhuangyan in and then bringing the door.
