Chapter 29 Preparation

It was not until the next day that Evan finally waited for Kairole's phone before losing patience. After Evan begged on the phone, Kairole agreed to make one for him.

That afternoon, Carl came to visit the official residence. Nominally, there was a document asking Evan to sign, but in fact, he was called by Carl.

When Carl entered and left the official residence, Linda was also there. Linda knew this "brother" who looked extremely handsome, and the two met unexpectedly and chatted a few times.

After Carl left, Linda frowned and looked puzzled. When she came, Carl had only one briefcase in her hand, why was she still holding a box in her arms when she left?

That night, Linda did not stay in the official residence, but lived with her parents.

The next day is Christmas Eve.

“Well, Perfect!”

Evan stood in the living room with his arms folded in his arms, looking at the Christmas tree he had brought back from the tree garden with his own hands, and nodded with satisfaction.

In the past, my elder brother Colin did this job, but now he is the only male laborer in the family, so who else can do it if he doesn't do it?

Virginia, who was decorating the Christmas tree, saw him standing there with a proud look on his face, and said angrily: "Don't stand stupidly, come and help."

She pointed to the top of the tree and said, "You are the highest, put this star on it!"

"OK, leave it to me!"

The stars are golden, as big as a plate, pentagonal, and shine under the sunlight. They are probably as beautiful as the light at night.

The Christmas tree was more than two meters high, and Evan stood on a stool and tiptoed to put the stars up.

"it's beautiful!"

After all the decorations were decorated, looking at the finished Christmas tree, Virginia held her hands together and placed them on her chest, and couldn't help but exclaim.

At this time, the younger brothers and sisters who followed Nina out to purchase came back.

Dora and Doroth walked in front with a basket on their own. As soon as they entered the living room, they saw the beautiful Christmas tree. Dora screamed excitedly. She raised her calf and wanted to run, but was pulled by the basket.

"Doros, let it go first!"

Dorothy did it without thinking.

The two of them ignored the basket and watched the Christmas tree.

Dora looked at it and asked her two older brothers and sisters: "Evan, Virginia, are your Christmas gifts ready? When will you put them down on the Christmas tree?"

Robert, who came in from behind, saw the basket placed at the living room door, and while detouring, he called Nina who was landing at the end, "Mum?"

"What's the matter?" Hearing Robert call herself blindly, Nina asked subconsciously. When she walked into the living room, she immediately understood what Robert wanted to say. Nina raised her eyebrows and shouted at the two little guys surrounded by the Christmas tree: "Dora, Dorothy, do things must have a beginning and an end, so why don't you come here quickly."

Dorothy knew that something was wrong. As soon as Nina said that, she lowered her head and walked towards the basket. However, Dora curled her lips and looked reluctant.

Seeing this, Evan slapped Dora's head with his big hand. Then, under Dora's angrily gaze, Evan strode to the basket and whispered to Doras, "Doras, leave this to me, you go and play."

Doroth immediately showed a surprise expression, then smiled sweetly at Evan and said, "Evan, thank you! I like you the most!"

After being sweetly "confessed" by his sister, Evan laughed and came to the kitchen with a basket and handed it to Nina.

The baskets are all filled with food, no wonder the Dora sisters brought it.

Although Evan mentioned it, Nina didn't say anything, just said to him: "Evan, don't spoil them too much!"

Evan smiled and said, "Nina, today is Christmas Eve, it's a special day."

"It's nothing wrong with relaxing a little."

After coming out of the kitchen, Evan heard the piano sounds, and the melody was very familiar.

He walked towards the piano room, and halfway through, Dorothy's singing began to sound with the piano.

“Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh,

Hey Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way

Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh…”

The twins sang "Jingle Bells", a classic Christmas song. The bright melody, joyful scenes and moving childish voices made Evan and Virginia, who were listening, sang together with the melody.

It’s a pity that Robert, who is still in the voice change period, cannot join the chorus.

The four siblings sang together, but still felt that they were still unsatisfied, so Duola played the start again.

“Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh,

Single dog, single dog single all the way..."

As we were singing, everyone suddenly felt something was wrong. After hearing the lyrics clearly, Dora stopped her hand and looked at Evan angrily.

"Evan, you're making trouble again!"

Evan, who was "ittingled" for a moment, scratched his head awkwardly and smiled.

Then, Evan was expelled from the piano room.

After lunch, everyone started preparing for the evening Christmas dinner.

First, I changed the dress I brought back a few days ago.

Needless to say, Evan and Robert were dressed naturally in suits. The tailor-made clothes fit very well, just perfectly improving the image of the two, making Evan look more handsome and mature, and making Robert look more sunny.

After talking about it, let’s talk about ladies.

Dora and Dorothy are both wearing lace princess dresses, with princess crowns and crystal earrings. If it weren't for the different colors of their gloves, Dora was black and Dorothy was pink. The two were almost exactly the same. At first glance, they thought it was an illusion!

Virginia's dress is also a princess dress, but her style is more mature, with large pieces of her shoulders and collarbone exposed, and the overall tone is white with a little pink. Evan believes that Virginia will definitely make many people fall in front of her at the dinner.

Finally, Nina, as the mother of the princesses, her dress is a more serious and conservative black round neck dress, but she still has a very good figure and is still charming.

After taking care of her image, Nina began to explain to the children what to pay attention to at the dinner.

Although it was not the first time Evan and others attended a formal banquet, and Nina had told them before, she still had to talk about it again.

Because this is related to the face of the head of the family Earl Warren.

You can't be good at the banquet, but you must not be fooled.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Earl Warren returned to the residence.

He had to go to the venue with his family.

When Earl Warren saw his wife and children who had finished dressing up, he praised him with great sincerity:

"Oh, my dear, you're so beautiful today."

"Virginia, the older you are, the more you look like a princess."

"Oh, dear Dora and Dorothy, my cutest princesses, I have to worry about whether you will be entangled by those little bastards tonight."

"Robert, you have a good choice for this bow tie. It doesn't matter if you don't talk to the night, just follow your brother."

Finally arrived in Evan.

"Well, Evan, your tie is crooked!"

Evan was stunned!

"Haha, kidding." Earl personally straightened Evan's tie.

At half past four, the Warren family took two cars out.
