Extra Story: Our Journey(2/2)
So we tied the East again, I won the clash with LeBron and headed to the finals to face another forward who was recognized as better than me: Kevin Durant.
He led the Dallas Mavericks to fight.
The series also played six games, and Fatty and I dominated both offense and defense in World War Six.
The Mavericks ended the season with a rout.
We won the fifteenth championship flag, and I was elected the MVP in the Finals. This is my third time being elected the MVP in the Finals. Please note that I am not disrespectful to my mom, but I have as many fmvp as he does!
After the season, Rashad Lewis and Brad Miller retired.
They were once the mainstay of the Pistons dynasty. After helping the team win three consecutive championships, they left the team for their own development and became All-Stars in the new team. When they were old, they returned to the starting point and helped us win the 13th championship in 16 years. I only respect them.
This championship puts the Pistons only one step away from the Celtics' titles.
We were very excited about this.
The departure of Brad and Rashad has reduced support points and scorers in our second team. The 2013-2014 championship seems to have caused some people in our team to overdraw their vitality.
At the beginning of the 2014-2015 season, Fatty was reimbursed for one-two season due to heart surgery.
The Pistons fans were worried about Brandon, but I injured my buttocks.
So Brandon held the game with the remaining team for two months. When I returned, he still remained calm and continued to play.
The team wanted him to take a rest, but he refused because there was no discomfort in his body.
As a result, he really did not suffer any injuries. Instead, Fatty and I were injured and stopped, which directly affected the team's game plan.
We stumbled to finish the regular season, got eliminated in the semi-finals of the playoffs and failed to complete three consecutive championships.
I don't want to make any excuses, but if Fatty and I are not injured, I think we are fully capable of completing three consecutive championships in this weak competitive season.
As soon as the season ended, Gerald, who had been suffering from injuries for many years, chose to retire.
Next, Michael Reed also chose to retire.
Fortunately, Manu stayed.
Then, it is this moment.
As you know, I just signed a contract extension with the team and until I was 35 years old, I would be a Pistons player.
Our career has not been completed, our journey has not been completed, I don’t know what will happen in the future, I only know Fatty, Manu, Brandon... and I, we will hold the torch tightly on Dor.mo, Grant, Gerard, Jerome, Daja, Brad, Rashad, Louis and they handed over to continue moving forward.
