Through the construction of these 150 projects and the construction of supporting projects, my country's industrial layout has rapidly developed.

Most of the industries in old China were concentrated in the coastal areas, and the industries in the mainland were mainly concentrated in a few big cities. There was almost no decent industry in the mainland. The projects built during the 1950s, especially those built by the Soviet Union, were mainly distributed in the Northeast, the central and western regions. Afterwards, the Soviet government gave China another long-term loan of 500 million rubles, with an annual interest rate of only two cents.

In just five years, the Soviet government was able to mobilize such a large amount of manpower and material resources to help China formulate plans, build projects, supply equipment, impart technology, train talents on behalf of others, provide low-interest loans, and send more than 3,000 experts and consultants to China to help us build, which is inseparable from Stalin's support.
